My name is Kerin, and my husband, Matt, and I love to travel. We are a recently married couple in our mid 20's. I am a nurse practitioner, working in sleep medicine, while Matt has a graduate degree in environmental science and works at Oregon State University's College of Forestry. We have no kids, but one very spoiled (but well-behaved) dog. We are very friendly, clean, easygoing people who have a myriad of interests--we particularly enjoy outdoor activities (hiking, fishing, etc.), meeting new people, experiencing other cultures, and exploring/supporting the local scene, especially things that are off the beaten path. We are foodies and love trying new foods (especially ethnic, mom & pop type restaurants), wine, and beer! We are not presumptuous, fancy people--very laid-back, casual, and flexible. We usually steer towards a bed and breakfast; basically a place that lends to more of a unique experience as opposed to a faceless chain. We look forward to using Airbnb as a way to connect with someone who knows the area well, can point us in the direction of items not found in a tour book, and has a place with more of a "home" feel than a traditional hotel.
