I am a New York filmmaker/photographer. I've been a New Yorker for 7 years and lived in Williamsburg through all of them. I travel a lot for a work and would love to share my space with others while I'm away.

we had a pleasant stay. Apartement well located to explore Brooklyn, close to Subway station. Taryn's apartment is spacious, Clean ans comfortable
The apartment was great and HUGE for Brooklyn. The location was ideal with access to both the L and the G, as well as a number of coffee shops/restaurants/bars. Other than a little confusion with the key (it wasn't Taryn's fault), our stay was perfect. The only problem we ran into was that it was difficult to get in contact with anyone who managed the apartment. We weren't in contact with Taryn at all, and it took a while to get in contact with Jaleel (the person who managed her place while she was gone). Despite this problem, our stay was wonderful.
Our stay on Taryn's flat was perfect. The flat is close to Hewes Street subway and it was very easy to go to Manhattan. The flat is large and cosy, the little kitchen is well equiped. Williamsburg is full of surprises and we found there lots of little restaurants and shops. It is a good alternative for a quite stay in New York.
Taryn's apartment is beautiful, warm, and welcoming with many comforts. It is spacious, clean, and the bed is really comfortable. There is ample space for suitcases and travel paraphernalia and the high ceilings give a lovely feeling of expanse. Interesting artwork is everywhere and there is a nice selection of books and CDs.
My parents spent 15 days in Taryn's apartment. They say the following about their experience: "We loved every minute of it. It is a 'cool' place, but warm and spacious. The kitchen-utensils are rather basic (just one wineglass!) and we would have preferred a less soft mattress, but that's a matter of personal taste. Walking the stairs to the 5th floor is a bit tiring, but can also be regarded as a healthy exercise. For our next trip to Brooklyn we will certainly try to get Taryn's apartment again!"
Taryn's apartment was located at a very nice area in Brooklyn. It was within walking distance from subway stops. Being an absolute foodie, the location was perfect with many food choices around the corner. Taryn even prepared her own list for exploration.
It was a brilliant experience staying at the apartment. The furnishing of the place was different and very indie. Taryn was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay.
This place is amazing! It's located in New York's equivalent to Shoreditch. The surrounding is area is very arty. There are lots of music/vinyl shops around including Rough Trade. It's less than a minute away from the best pizza restaurant in New York, Williamsburg Pizza, and is less than a three minute walk away from the station, where trains take about around five/ten minutes to central Manhattan.
The department is very clean and Taryn is a brilliant host. We never met her but any time we messages her, she took a maximum of five minutes to reply. She's also on hand 24/7 if you have any questions about where to go or event that are on. On our way home, our flight wasn't until 11pm so I asked Taryn if we could leave our bags in the apartment for the day and she was kind enough to let us.
We also arrived to find she had left a lovely bottle of wine on the table waiting for us.
We had an amazing time at this place. We only got home yesterday but are already planning when we can go back again.
Thank you Taryn!
We loved staying at Taryn's place! It was clean and close to heaps of great restaurants and bars in Brooklyn. It's also close to the subway so you can easily get to Manhattan. Would highly recommend staying here for anyone visiting New York.
