I believe that travel is the salvation of the soul! meeting new people and discovering new places to marvel in front of the unknown; this is whqt life should be.
We had a wonderful stay at Kateryna's and Khalil's place, they are lovely and unstressed hosts, so we felt really ease with them. They got a spacious apartment and the room is very comfortable and has a sunny balcony. The little cat is the cherry on the cake, but beware!! ;-)
You have to walk like 40 minutes to the city center if you don't want to take a taxi or pack into a bus. But it's ok and you can already see a lot of the city and how people live there. And you will walk a lot anyway if you want to discover this colorful and exciting city.
Wonderful opportunity for a stay in Marrakech. Katy and Khalil are great hosts. Friendly, easy-going and interested. Their cat will become your friend. The location of the apartment is also good. Many restaurants as well as the Jardins Majorelle are in walking distance, while even Jamaa el Fna is not too far.
Katy and Khalil were two of the best hosts we've had with AirBnB. They provided a home to us in the middle of chaotic Marrakech. Their cat was also adorable and fun to play with. The room was clean, their apartment safe and in a good spot, easily accessible to bus one that will take you directly to the central square. Katy helped us find the apartment and even left work to meet us and give us a key. We used the kitchen as well during our stay. Thanks so much Katy and Khalil! We look forward to visiting Marrakech again.
Katy was super helpful, accommodating, and inviting! I enjoyed my stay at her lovely apartment overlooking the New City (Gueliz) of Marrakech.
Highlights of my trip included a local hammam Katy recommended, where I was treated like royalty with a bath and a massage, as well as a restaurant nearby that served the local tasty dish known as Tangia. I was also lucky enough to catch a big football (soccer) game between Germany and Morrocco with Katy and her friends.
Katy and Khaled come highly recommended, and are super fun to boot as well. They know the ins and outs of Marrakech like locals, and have an obvious passion for travel and culture.
Katy and Khalil helped us a lot to resolve all the problems that we had in Marrakesh due to to our difficult mission of saving a homeless dog. Their flat was like home for us. Very nice apartment in modern part of Marrakesh. I recommend :)
Nice, quiet place in the modern Gueliz area of Marrakech. Easy to walk to Jeema el Fna or the Majorelle Gardens. There is a supermarket nearby. The only downside is that you cannot really have traditionel breakfast closeby.
The room is clean and quiet. The matras of the bed was comfortable and the sheets cosy and smelling good.
Our hosts were very welcoming!! with lots of helpful (insider) tips and good recommendations. They even asked the local hammam if we could go both at the same time. The checking in & out times are flexible which is very convenient.
If you don't want to stay in a Riad this place is definately recommended
Kateryna and Khalil were excellent host, very friendly, always with big smile, try to make us comfortable all the times, we just loved them. Once we arrived, Khalil drew a map of restaurants near to their house, such a nice guy!
One day we had a good dinner together at one of the nicest local restaurant.. ah.. Brochette at that restaurant was just awesome, after that I ordered brochette at other restaurants but I couldn't compare it with the one at that restaurant.
Flat was just as the other guests described, newly built, spacious and very nice apartment. Room was clean and neat. And I want to say it's not noisy at all. I read a review about another guest who stayed here before we've been, but I can say there is no noise from neighbors, you don't need any ear plug.
Very strongly recommend to anyone who is planning to stay in Marrakech.
Kateryna es un huésped recomendable
