Austin's room was exactly what I needed for my stay in Austin: a good bed, a desk to write on, and a private bathroom (with plenty of closet space)....all with a little bit of Austin quirk thrown on top. I was in town for SXSW--which meant a lot of time downtown --and found the walk from the room to the convention center totally manageable. Not to mention: Austin is a supremely hopsitable dude, who even let me use his bike to bomb around the city. Highly recommend staying here if you're in town.
The host canceled my reservation 68 days before arrival.
while the apartment was slightly smaller than we were expecting, it was an easy and comfortable stay, and austin was a really great host. he was accessible for all of our questions.
My husband and I stayed at Austin's for two nights. Though he was not in Austin at the time, he made the stay very simple and easy for us. He was very helpful and prompt when it came to answering emails and questions.
The apartment was very centrally located and the area felt quite safe. I would definitely recommend Austin as a host.
The check in and check out was easy and very flexible. Austin's apartment was in a safe neighborhood and pretty convenient location to UT and Guadalupe (The Drag). The apartment was cosy and the bed was so comfortable we slept through our alarm everyday :p would definitely recommend his place to my friends visiting Austin
It was great coming back to Austin, TX and the check-in couldn't be easier. I arrived late in the night at 11pm to find the door unlocked and the keys above the laundry. The place was cool with a very "Keep Austin Weird" vibe of eclecticism.
Awesome, laidback, cool are some words that would describe Austin Fain's approach. You will feel safe in his home and neighborhood. He's close to the University and Downtown (about a $10 cab ride with tip).
Definitely would recommend staying here... only down side was that the internet didn't work on my last day I was there. Thanks Austin!
Austin was really responsive to my questions--especially being an Airbnb first-timer--and the apartment was in a convenient, safe neighborhood. Staying in the apartment felt like staying in your best dude friend's place while he's out of town: nice and homey but definitely not the place for you if you're prissy. It is small, respectable and peaceful. Very chill. Very dude-like. And I have to say, Austin has the most comfortable bed EVER. Recommended!
This place was very close to downtown and Zilker Park! He was a great host and had everything clean and ready for us! He was very helpful throughout our stay with answering any questions we had about directions or places to go! I definitely recommend staying here! Way better deal than the hotel..
I had a great time in Austin at Austin's. It's close enough to downtown and in a very nice area where you can find all you need and hang out at cool places. i recommend highly.
Austin was a great host. He literally moved out with a few hours' notice. The location was great and he was attentive to every need. Would definitely stay there again.
Thom was a great guest here! He only stayed one night and had to leave quite early the next morning so we didn't have much time to visit but he is very nice and super laid back. He kept the place very neat and clean. I would gladly host him again.
Austin was here for a short stay but he made sure to let me know his schedule. It was a great guest!
Justin is a very friendly and polite person. When he left the room, everything was kept tidy. Our communication was clear and smooth. Thank you Justin for being my first guest!
Austin was great. Good communicator, clean, friendly and super nice to chat with. Definitely recommend hosting him.
Austin was an easy guest to host and left the place in great condition.
Nice and friendly guest...I didnt see them very much as they were out all the time..
Hope to give hospitality again..
