Honest & Genuine. Loves to have a good time.
Jesse's place is a great place to crash for those visiting the city, especially if you're attending something at the nearby Moda conference center. If not, it's a nice walk across the river to the downtown area. Check-in was simple and painless.
Stayed for a recent weekend here. Great location with the MAX transit system just down the street, and the bus just up the street. Right next to the stadium and convention center, but still quiet. Jesse is very (email hidden)op by his restaurant for some fantastic food! Dave the cat is a great companion. Would definitely stay here again.
My two friends and I stayed two nights at Jesse's place and were very pleased with everything. From the delicious food Jesse left for us to Dave, the world's greatest cat, we had a great time staying in his studio. It was just what we needed for a quick getaway to Portland. Jesse was a very accommodating host. Although there is not much in the immediate area, the location of the apartment still allows you to easily explore the city. Thanks for a great stay!
Overall a great experience. Jesse was very accommodating to our arrival and departure schedule. We didn't spend much time inside, but the transit stations nearby were super convenient and downtown was in walking distance. It was also nice to be able to come back and be greeted by Dave the cat after a long day of hoofing it around the city. I would absolutely recommend this place as well as checking out Jesse's restaurant. So good!
Jesse's place was great. We were able to walk to the Moda Center in just a couple of minutes. Dave (the cat) was awesome. The only thing is there's only street parking that you have to pay at 5 hour intervals between 8am - 10 pm or there's a pay lot about a block away.
All good and very central!
My boyfriend Garrett & I stayed at The Rose Quarter studio during my first trip to Portland. This was our first Airbnb experience and we loved it! Jesse was a very cool, friendly, and responsive host (and an amazing cook!). The Studio was really conveniently located with a lot of transit options and came with an awesome cat named Dave. Unlike a hotel, it also had a washer/dryer, which is nice in a place that is rainy and consequently muddy. Loved the art and the space overall. Really no complaints.
Really nice place, super close to the Oregon convention center, and incredible host. Can't say enough!
What a pleasant experience! This was my first time using Airbnb. Jesse was very pleasant and even left me a serving of homemade meatballs. Sadly I am vegetarian and could not eat them but I appreciated the thought. I was there attending a conference at Portland Convention Center and this was the perfect locale considering it is only a couple short blocks away. Jesse style is pretty funky and fun so I enjoyed the room aesthetics. Dave his cat is friendly but not intrusive and was a joy. I highly recommend staying here. Transportation was very easy with MAX right nearby Portland's very easy to use transportation system.
Jesse's spot is awesome, perfect location if you are going to see an even at the Rose Garden, and literally across the street from multiple public transportation options to go anywhere in Portland.
He is also super chill, helpful, accommodating, and friendly, offering up written restaurant suggestions (about 10), and a variety at that. Upon arriving, we found that he bought us a 6-pack and cooked up delicious lamb meatballs, which he left for us in his fridge. His cat, Dave, is also a legend. Go with Jesse, you'll be happy about it.
