Tarah's place exceeded our expectations. Very spacious house with comfy bed and living room. Nice interiors and landscaping too. Perfect place to recover after 20 hours of traveling from the USA. Tarah was super helpful in arranging an airport pick up and a scooter rental. (You need a scooter or rental car if you are staying at her place, because it is in a residential neighborhood.) Beautiful view of rice paddies out front. She left great intro to Bali information, plus recommendations for food and activities. Yummy food 5 minutes away. Great intro to Bali. We stayed 3 nights before continuing our trip north.
I just arrived home and am missing bali sooooo much! Tarah's placa is absolutely beautiful and allows you to experience a different type of bali and not the hussle and bussle of the kuta/legian region. It is a basic house, but for bali standards quite luxurious. Tarah was very helpful with organising airport transfers, motorbikes and mobile phones whilst i was there and also gave advice on little events that were happening near by. My only thing is that if you are wanting to actually go places, you need to be comfortable driving a motorbike or with somoene that can, as it is a bit isoalted. But saying that, it is very lovely to wake up to the sound of nature. And i did find good use of the aircon, very handy. I'd say this house is best suited for people that have already travelled to bali and know the area a bit, you will enojy it immensely and find a new bali in amongst the village that is so welcoming and helpful. loved my stay. thanks tara
We love Tarah"s Chill pad. It's Cute and Cozy and far away from outside noise and especially in the evening we can hear cricket and other buzzing insect outside the padi field.Tarah's is very helpful with directions and even got her local Nokia hp and sim card for us just in case we needs it. Most enjoyable for us is taking the rental bike for a ride to Seminyak, Legian and Kuta for a sight-seeing. Best kind of transport to get around with especially in Bali narrow roads. Thank you Tarah and we hope to stay at your house again the next time we 'll have a holiday in Bali again. Cheers.
Tarah's place is very comfortable: our bed was huge, the hot shower had a lot of waterpressure, there was a bathtub, a nice open (small) kitchen livingroom and even a extra room used as massageroom or office. When we arrived there were beautiful fresh flowers everywhere, maybe because of newyear's eve...we really appreciated that. Tarah was a great hostess: she had arranged transport from the airport to her place (on newyear's eve), a motorbike was ready and waiting, she even provided a cellphone with a local simcard for us...and on top of that there were fresh beers in the fridge :)
To arrive at the place by motorbike was a little bit of an adventure because the road in front of the house was in reparation, but the day we left we saw people working on it.
All in all a great stay, thanks Tarah!
Tarah is such a lovely woman. She makes sure you have everything you need. The house is simple and neat in quiet back street with so little noise.
Have you own transportation though. Just like most places in Bali a scooter is perfect to get around. Touristic attraction are not too far from the house yet it is in very residential area.
Thanks Tarah! All the best with your project and your up coming trip.
Tarah came to our Studio in SAYAN, Ubud, Bali, to spend a week so she could enjoy a restful time. she has been a very friendly guest in expressing her needs, we are happy we could satisfy her requests.
She was respectful of the place, she left it clean and wrote a most positive review to show her appreciation of her stay.
we certainly recommend Tarah as a guest and look fwd to welcoming her again any time.
