Simple and straightforward.
Traveling for fun, like to learn about new cultures, meet people and see different places.
we stayed at sasha's with our two little children and we loved the place. the house is perfectly located in a nice and quiet area with everything you need in a close walking distance. the appartment is very good and perfectly suited for holidays with kids. and what is most important it is the great host. ruzha (sasha's mother) is very helpfu. we left our 2.5 years old son stay there some more time with my mother who arrived just before we left. and ruzha was always responsive and very kind to them. she helped them with solving many issues like taking our son to a doctor when he was sick. this kind of help is just invaluable when being on holiday with children.
Corresponding with my review on ground floor apartment. The same - excellent.
Cannot describe better our stay than previous hosts, excellent holiday for me, my wife and for our friends. 100% recommendantion. Sasa tried his best to do our stay as much comfortable as possible. Thanks for that and we will look forward to come to this wonderfull place again and again.
Sasha's place was great. The place was clean and nicely firnished, plenty of bed space, the terrace was outstanding. We ended-up hanging out on the terrace most evenings, quiet, serene and lovely.
Sasha went out of his way to get Cable TV hooked up so we can catch the Olynpics. Everything else is in very good working conditions.
This was the perfect start to my holiday. The apartment is very nice and in a perfect location right on the water. There is a large deck with a grill facing the water which is perfect for dinner and reading.
Sasa and his family are great hosts. They were very helpful in pointing out things to do, restaurants, the fish market, etc.... It was a really great experience and I plan to return next year.
Amazing place, amazing view, perfect location, amazing host ! Perfect spot that receives my highest recommendation. Initially we planned to stay there for 3 nights but unpon the arrivial we immediately extended our stay by an extra night. (would have stayed longer time permitted)
Sasa was very helpful before and upon the arrivial while his mother Ruža was the best host possible. She took us to the local fish market (highly recommend), grilled fish with us, ended up joining us for dinner and was full of recommendations and fun to talk to.
The place is very clean, modern, has all you will need for your stay there while the terrace overlooking the Bay is a perfect place to have a dinner, enjoy a glass of wine and to take in the view (view is even better in person than the profile pictures). The water access is few meters away from the gate, perfect location, more on a quiet side, unlike the beach in Tivat that is more crowded. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing place but with easy access to other points (Kotar, Budva) you found the spot.
We travelled around Croatia and Montenegro this summer and by far it was our FAVORITE spot. I can only wish I was still sitting on that terrace enjoying the view.
Utterly breathtaking. My girlfriend and I have stayed at places all over the world, and this is our favorite spot without a doubt. It is right on the water in a charming part of Tivat. There are many restaurants, cafes and food stores nearby so it's very convenient.
The apartment itself has an enormous balcony (about 15 sq meters) that overlooks the water and faces west toward the mountains that surround the Bay of Kotor. Every night we sat and watched the sun set over the bay. In the mornings we ate fresh fruit on the balcony facing east as the sun rises over the mountains. Tivat has the sun in the area, so it is ideal for dinners at sunset.
The city itself is well located to see all of Montenegro. The old town of Kotor and Perast are short drives North (or take the bus for 2 euros). And the breathtaking city of Budva is a short drive to the south (bust for 4 euros). In my opinion Tivat has the best of both worlds - old world charm, laid back environment, picturesque scenery without the tourist overkill and yet all the amenities of the French Riviera.
The apartment is very well equipped. The kitchen is loaded with nice appliances (stove, refrigerator, freezer) so cooking is not a problem. We have used a grill on the patio most nights.
The bed is huge and comfortable. The other bedroom is convenient for friends, family or kids.
The Uzelacs are gracious hosts and great people. They have been available if we had any questions or needed help with anything. We had a wonderful dinner with them.
Not to be forgotten Porto Montenegro, the incredibly beautiful new Marina, is a ten minute walk. We walk there daily as there are many terrific restaurants and beautiful views. Cote d'Azure style meets charming old stone Montenegro downtown. Imagine light stone buildings adorned with well manicured Magnolia trees around a well designed port filled with yachts on the blue-green bay of Kotor all while surrounded by fjord-like mountains. It's heaven.
If you want fresh fish right from the bay (sea bass, orada, zubatac), it's incredible. But restaurants cater to everyone from fine dining to trattoria italian places to fine sushi to local favorites in casual settings (konobas). The homemade ice cream in downtown is a personal favorite of ours.
Wether it's historic sights, relaxing seaside, water sport, or romantic nights this has it all. I really don't want to sound like an advertisement, but it is a place we fell in love with and will definitely return next year. We still dream about it.
Sasa and his friends were super friendly, very quiet and clean...in short the perfect guests. I would recommend Sasa to anyone!
Sasa and his girlfriend Sonia were my first Airbnb guests. They stayed here for 10 days. I enjoyed the experience so much, I'm willing to do it again. They are very polite, considerate, and pleasant to be around. I was sad when they left! I highly recommend them.
