We are filmmakers from NY, who love to travel. So does our 16-months-old daughter Yadra, who is very easy-going and loves to meet new people and explore new places.
I went to Brooklyn to do some research at Brooklyn College, which is a pretty 10 - 15 minute walk from Linda's house. It was incredibly convenient for me and Linda and her family were extremely nice.
Linda's home was our first Airbnb experience and it was just awesome. She and her beautiful family made us feel at home from the very first minute. Living in her house was a very unique New York experience; looking out of the window into their beautiful garden and being surrounded by Victorian houses makes you forget that you are actually in the city that never sleeps. But honestly, it's just perfect to relax after a busy day/night in Manhattan, which is easily reached by train (just 10 minutes walk from their house). We simply loved staying there!
Linda warmly welcomed us into her family home. We really liked the relaxed atmosphere and the thoughtful touches such as chocolates in the room on our arrival! Although we were out in Manhattan quite a lot, at the times we were back in the house we enjoyed hearing about the films Linda is making.
It was awesome to stay in Linda's house! Although it's little far from manhattan, it was not that bad cause there are 2 train stations(2 train and Q train) in 15 mins from her house. Also, the hostess was really kind. She took cares of our staying even though she was in vacation while we stayed in her house.
Linda came down from New York with her family and stayed for 6 nights at our condo in Treasure Island. She was very polite and it was a pleasure to meet them when they first arrived. She left the place clean and we would love to have her back anytime she wishes to visit the St. Pete / Treasure Island beach area.
Was a wonderful house guest. That I would welcome back anytime
