Great location in North End. The apartment is clean and quiet. Would recommend staying there!
I booked relatively last minute and given the last minute nature, Dev was quite responsive and accessible. Once I was checked in, I noted the apartment did not have a/c installed yet (it is seasonal), and even though Dev was out of town, within a few hours, the realty company had sent someone over to install it. The place itself is indeed small but perfectly comfortable for one or two people looking for a cozy place in one of the best neighborhoods in Boston for a couple of nights. Not fancy, but comfortable. True, there is not much space so with lots of luggage you may feel a little cramped, but for a few days, it's perfectly doable. Yes, the bathroom is tiny, but functional and clean. I was only there for one night so did not really make use of the kitchen, but there is enough space and kitchenware there to put it to good use for a meal or two and some additional space for sitting and reviewing an itinerary or doing a bit of email. The wifi worked fine for me. Overall, I would recommend this place for short stays in Boston's North End. Steps to major tourist attractions, fine meals, and a fun cultural experience but still off the beaten track enough to feel like you are away from the bustle.
My parents and I had great place at this little cozy apartment. It offers everything you need! Yes the bathroom is small but we didn't mind it at all. The location is perfect. We love love the north end, it reminds me of Europe. So many great Italian restaurants and bakeries around, and it's only 10 minutes from the subway station. If we go back to Boston we would definitely stay at this place again!
This one bedroom apt in the North End is not fancy but was actually larger than I expected after reading some reviews, but don't expect a gourmet kitchen and I will admit the bathroom is just a closet, very small. But there is a nice sitting room with a large couch that if you take the backrests off makes for a comfortable bed. The bedroom is adequate but the bed is comfortable. You do need to put your suitcases on a chair because of the sugar ants which were out in force this time of year.
Location, location, location! Easy walk to most of the sites and the freedom trail is close by and being in the North End you have hundreds of Italian restaurants to pick from.
The host was responsive most the time but it was confusing picking up the key from a real estate office down a few blocks and how they were all involved with the property. I will admit that the fellow at the real estate office is very helpful and willing to hold your bags for you if your flight does not leave shortly after you check out and even willing to drive you to the airport for a fee of course but so nice to not to have to worry about what you do with your luggage when you have a number of hours to kill.
As everyone has mentioned, the location is great, very close to lots of bars, restaurants and Italian food shops. The bathroom is miniscule, but all in all, a decent deal for the price and location. I did notice a lot of ants in the apartment- not sure if that is a seasonal thing. When I called, I was told that someone would be sent out to deal with it. I'm not sure if anyone actually did come because I wasn't there, and the ant problem persisted.
Simple, clean apartment with everything you need, in a charming neighborhood. Given the size, and the fact that parking is hard to come by without shelling out a lot of bucks for a lot, the fee seems a little steep. But it's comparable to everything else in Boston and again, the location is lovely.
Great location at the end of Boston's North End in a quiet street, only a short walk away from restaurants and bars.
The apartment is as described on the images. It's clean and you'll find everything you'll need. Thank you!
In general terms we agree with Doris comments below. It is an appartment with lots of room for improvement with not much money. The bathroom is extremely small. WiFi worked perfectly well in our case. Location is great, the bed is comfortable and although we were there in winter, heating worked fine. What you don´t see in the pictures is a huge stove in front of the entrance door and a water heater on the wall by it. And there are no storage spaces for clothes. All in all, we had a great time in Boston!!!! and took advantage of the great location of this apartment in Little Italy.
I would highly recommend this apartment. The key pickup was uncomplicated and Dev was really responsive to all our needs.
The very best about this apartment is its location in the center of Boston's North End, very close to a number of great (mostly Italian) restaurants, and cafés. We could walk to almost every sights we were interested in seeing and the subway isn't far either.
The bed is comfortable, the bathroom rather small but ok and clean, and the kitchen is well stocked. The noise from neighbors or people in the hallway can be disturbing, but it's ok if you don't need absolute silence for sleeping.
This is a charming little place in the north end and I had a great experience overall during my month-long stay.
