Great private place to stay. Just as described. Nice neighborhood with everything nearby. The Internet was really slow. I couldn't get any work done on my computer.
My husband and I stayed here for a couple weeks when we first moved to the area. We had a bunch of stuff with us so it worked out great that we had so much space downstairs. She also makes a great breakfast, I woke up early some mornings just to take part in it. They're a busy family so most of the time you have the place to yourself and her dog is really sweet (be sure to scratch his back!). I would say the only downside would be if you spend a lot of time on the Internet we didn't have much luck with it downstairs and tethered from our phones instead. Also since we weren't working yet we were in bed past 0800am and woke up a lot of mornings to them simply because we were right below the kitchen. All in all a nice place to stay, and it's conveniently located by a lot of stores and restaurants.
The house was located in a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood. It is centrally located with many amenities nearby. The basement was spacious and very private. It was nicer than most hotel rooms and Natasha had a selection of toiletries in case you needed them. Natasha was very hospitable and checked on me every night. She made sure that I felt welcome in her house, like an old friend. This was my first stay with AirBnb and it set the bar very high.
Natasha and her family made us feel like a part of their family! My daughter loved Trip the dog and was sad to leave him. Natasha has a great location close to everything we wanted. The basement was better than expected and very clean and private. She even had little soaps and things like a 5 star hotel :) We loved it and would return in the future.
The host made us feel very comfortable. She told us to, make ourselves at home. What I really liked about this place is that, the room is in the basement. So, it is kind of private from the house. It even has a door separating the house from the basement. You have your own room with doors, bathroom, living room. You can watch from a wide selection of both adult and kid movies, you can read from her selection of books, or you can play Wii games, watch TV. Sometimes she'll cook you breakfast, but when she does, it is really good! We had orange sesame muffins, chocolate peanut butter banana muffins, lemon muffins, fruits, nutella crepes with cool whip, bacon, quiche, hard boiled eggs.. all of it was very delicious! She can cook! As some mentioned, sometimes you can hear upstairs (talking, moving, running), but that'll be anywhere you share a household and anywhere that has kids haha :) As she said, if the kids get too noisy, just ask them to quiet down :) It's not that bad though :) During the week, for most of the day, you have the place to yourself, as she works and the kids go to school. But Natasha was a wonderful host. She lets you use her kitchen to cook, her printer to print, the fridge in the garage for your own stuff, you can do laundry... she even offered me one day to use her boots since I only had sneakers! She had awesome tea and hot cocoa on the counter for us to have whenever we wanted. Her kids and dog are super nice and friendly! Awesome experience, would stay there again for sure! Thank you for having us!
The private basement is a great place to stay. Its quiet, clean, and comfortable. Natasha is a very friendly and hospitable host. You would think she's from the south :). I would recommend this location to anyone.
The description of the listing was accurate. Very clean and spacious. Comfy bed. Natasha was very helpful and welcoming. I needed to print off some things and she allowed me to use her printer. She kept her young boys quiet while they were upstairs playing (not as easy task with young boys). Everything worked out great for us. I can recommend without any reservations.
Natasha was a great host. Made me feel like family. Was very kind to let my daughter who I was out there to visit come to stay with along with my beautiful grandson (3 weeks old) the basement was beautiful and very cozy... She's very kind and funny and goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. I give her the highest rating there is & would defiantly stay with her again at the drop of a hat! She was great!!!
This was an excellent listing in a very nice home and with a superb hostess. My business only required that I stay two nights in Colorado Springs, and I was pleased to be accepted into this listing. I had the basement to myself, including a large and very comfortable bedroom, a living room and a large bathroom, all in the basement. The house is located away from the center of Colorado Springs, but it is within easy access to all parts of the Springs. The hostess is a delightful and energetic person, and it was a delight to spend some time with her and her friend, Chris.
Everything about my stay was excellent, and I will stay in this bnb in any future trip to Colorado Springs. I highly recommend this listing to anyone visiting the area.
Natasha was an outstanding hostess. The house was very well decorated--especially the lower level. The house was very new and in a nice quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay with her and it will be hard to match with other airbnb locations. The soundproofing between the main floor and the lower level is amazing. While we were there, she had a Halloween and we heard very little noise. She was even kind enough to invite us to party but we were tired from touring and just wanted to enjoy afternoon and evening football games.
Natasha was an amazing guest and had so much fun during her visit. Hope she decides to come back again soon!
