Nate and his boat were amazing! Nate was a great host. He was always quick in responding and was just very pleasant to work with. The boat was even better than the pics! It was probably one of the most relaxing vacations I've ever had. HIGHLY recommend using Nate and enjoying an amazing experience in the wonderful town of Sausalito!
My girlfriend and I stayed at Nate's houseboat for 10 days and enjoyed every second of it. It's not a huge space, but it's not tiny either. It has a living room with a guest bed, kitchen dining room, a master bedroom, and a gorgeous deck with a tiki bar.
The real treat was waking up each morning to the view of floating houses, distant mountains, and blue skies while hearing the sound of birds chirping.
It's a quiet and romantic place where you can relax out in the deck during the day and observe the stars at night. You can chill in the well-decorated living room that gives you the sense of being submerged in water.
It was a truly unique experience for both of us. One that we'll remember for the rest of our lives. I heartedly recommend it for anyone out there.
I can think of no more magical and memorable experience than a stay on Nate's boat in Sausalito. It was charming, cozy and well-kept. With a remarkable location at the end of the dock that feels both away from it all and in the middle of everything. The views from the roof deck were spectacular.
Nate was a gracious and accommodating host. Very attentive and responsive. He greeted us and made sure we were properly oriented and was reliably available for questions during our stay.
I'd love to return, but Nate has reportedly sold the boat. I feel fortunate to have stayed there before that happened.
Staying on Nate's boat was great! The location was excellent, walking distance to some great eats in Sausalito. Wifi was great, always a bonus :) The boat itself is just amazing, crafted details, spatially interesting, and well cared for. It was very refreshing to stay in such a unique place.
I am already looking forward to the next time I can visit again :)
This Yacht was fabulous! Nate had everything we needed for a wonderful night on the water. I was expecting to feel the waves, but it was very calm and we slept so well!
Nate was a wonderful host and we loved our experience staying on his sailboat. It was in a gorgeous spot in Sausalito. We slept very well in the comfy cozy cabin and it was extremely well kept. We walked to get breakfast in the morning and it was great. Nate's information on the area was the local flavor we wanted to experience so were thrilled at the perfect start to our 20th wedding Anniversary! This was our first time using airbnb and we are glad it was with Nate as he was fabulous. Thank you Nate!
Nate was a great host. He had the boat ready early and we met him when we got into town which was a nice treat to relax a little more. We needed a relaxing night after an emotional ceremony in San Francisco and we wanted to watch the meteor shower that would happen that night. What a treat we had! The boat was quiet and right on the open water so you didnt even feel like you were stuck on a slip, we enjoyed a relaxing afternoon and evening, walked to lunch and dinner, and curled up on the top deck to watch the meteors that night with a bottle of champagne. We listened to music (he even provides a hook up for my iphone) and stayed up until 4 AM! Went to sleep for a few great hours (that bed was comfy) and cleaned up on the boat before we left in the bathroom that has it all! We would recommend to anyone and hope we get to go back for a longer stay next time.
this was our first airbnb powered trip.. and we were looking for somewhere for a night stopover enroute from wine country back to LA.
Hotels and other land based accommodation was proving tricky, so thought we would try one of the water based alternatives.
Once you accept the natural limitations of boat life... bumped heads, treading carefully along narrow gangways and the general compactness of everything, we had a fun evening aboard Nates boat.
Nate himself was very friendly and helpful.
It did get cold on deck at night (though we were both cosy inside and in bed) , but the boats location at the end of a wharf offered some great views of the mists rolling over the hills. Its a bit of a hike from the car park to the boat.... we decanted our normal luggage to something a little smaller.
Overall a good experience... and one we glad we tried, and was perfect for the one night.
Had the time of my life on Nate's boat. Met up with him before hand and he gave me the tour. He immediately picked up on my vibe and what kind of experiences I was looking for and recommended several different areas for me to explore all of which turned out to be great. It's right in the middle of downtown Sausalito with tons of great food spots nearby. Great bike routes with scenic views and you get to spend the whole time on the water.
The boat itself is extremely comfortable and has everything you need.
I've also heard that this is the dock on which Otis Redding wrote "Sittin on the Dock of the Bay" but you'll have to discuss that with the locals.
Nate also was able to work around me as I unexpectedly had to check in late, very accommodating.
Can't say enough nice things!
We could not have had a better time staying on Nate's boat. The boat itself is beautifully kept and has everything you need. And the location is perfect. The yacht harbor is right next to the ferry terminal, so getting to San Francisco is easy. Nate's boat's slip is second from the end (closest to the water) so you have an incredible view of the Bay. There's nothing like drinking coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night and watching the yachts sail by.
Great guests! we went out in the night and we have a nice time in Barranco, we wait for them when they will be back in Lima to enjoy a peña time all toghether!
We wish them to have a good time in their trip!
High reccomended guests
Nathan and Nora are very friendly, tidy, kind and lucky people! They enjoyed beautiful event 東山花灯路 in Kyoto coincidently just two days before the start of that event. And they are pro photographer! So we shared our stories and photos each other, enjoyed beer and sashimi with my friend. I really enjoyed spending time with them! They speak English, German and some Japanese. Please host these perfect guests!
Nathan & Nora are nice couple. Friendly, tidy, and polite. We can enjoy talking about many things on the first day.I hope we can get talk again.
