Ciao a tutti, sono Patrizia. Che scrivere di me? Vengo da Rosignano Maritimo e mi piace il mare...
Fast communication and flexibility since the first contact.
Nice and renewed place, in a really great location!
The apartment was nice but lacks natural light. The common area is a bit small. The apartment is above a Kabob restaurant. The problem is that it smells like food, constantly. Also, the noise level is a little high for my liking and the walls between the bedrooms are very thin. However, the apartment met all of our needs.
With that said, the location is also great. Also, Jean was amazing at addressing all of our concerns. He carried our luggage up, he took care of addressing the noise issue, he recommended great restaurants, and also helped fix the sky light. He also came over and fixed the television for my dad. All in all, the service was outstanding.
Overall this is a good place and you can be confident booking here. Just a couple things to keep in mind for people looking for specifics.
The space fits 4 people perfectly, but I wouldn't choose this place for a long stay, we were only there for one night. The communal space is rather small and the walls are thin. The bathroom is huge and has a heater, which is fantastic as showers in Italy are usually colder than their American counterparts. The check in process happens in an office not far away and is relatively painless.
The neighborhood isn't that great, except for the cool Market Centrale across the street. But you walk 3 blocks and you are back in the good stuff. Super close to the train which is helpful and why we chose the place. Only thing I didn't like was the bed, I thought it was pretty uncomfortable.
Patricia & Jean were very responsive and helpful in coordinating our visit. The apartment was clean, air conditioning worked well, wifi was fast, and we had no problems to speak of really. The location is convenient - it's close to restaurants, walking distance to all the key tourist sights and close to the train station (but Florence is so small and walkable that I think that's the case with a lot of places). The condition/quality of the apartment and stylings is about average (don't expect a luxury or high end experience), but it's comfortable for a group and reasonably priced, so it worked out fine for us.
This charming apartment is as it appears in photos - exposed brick and beams, with a modern bathroom and wonderful bedroom loft. It easily slept the four members of our party as the sleeper sofa has a trundle. It is equipped with a large 4 burner stove and just about 1 1/2 blocks from a supermarket, so it was easy for us to cook up a great meal and enjoy eating in.
This apt. is so ideally located, close to the train station and buses and in the very heart of a bustling, lively and fun section of the city(skirting the plaza that houses the large and wonderful Mercato Centrale). Because it is in the heart of the city, expect city noise, but the windows and shutters do a good job cutting out the sounds and there is air conditioning.
Florence is such a walkable city, but it is still a delightful surprise to be located only a few short blocks from the Duomo.
For English speaking guests, you will find that Jean is wonderfully able to communicate on behalf of Patrizia and very helpful with great tips about exploring the lovely city. Given that our stay was relatively short stay, his recommendations were greatly appreciated.
This was one of our favorite places we stayed on our 12 day trip through Italy. We didn't book this place until the day we arrived in Florence and we were greeted by Jean and he could not have been more accommodating. The apartment is really cool and very centrally located to the main sites as well as the train and bus station. We will definitely try to stay in this apartment when we come back to Florence.
In the heart of Firenze, the Lorenzo Apartment was perfect for my family vacation. With the very friendly staff available in the office of the Piazza, we enjoyed right from arrival some great advices and information about the city. Such delight also in the Trattoria da Garibardi, just next door. Recommended to all who want to experience a cheerful travel experience in Firenze, in family or with friends. Charming "Lorenzo" leads you right away in the action: good food, good discoveries, all comfort!
Was a great place to stay right near the heart of Florence approx 300m walk to Galleria dell Academia. Near the Central Markets. Food is cheaper in this area than elsewhere we encountered in Florence.
The apartment was clean and comfortable for 5 people. One flight of stairs only. Air conditioning works really well very important for our stay as temperatures reached 42 deg celcius.
Jean and Patriza very helpful and I used parking at a cost of 20 euros per night which is underneath the Central Market.
One small note the actual shower stall is very very small, so if you a big it may be a bit of a struggle.
Super efficient, super friendly and a delightful place to stay. Centrally located for all the Old City sites particularly the Food market which is right across the street. Awesome bathroom and apartment was great for four people. Come and enjoy Florence from this great base.
My wife and I and adult daughter stayed in this fantastic apartment for only one night and we wish it was longer. Jean was the most helpful of hosts and his advice and support (even carrying a large bag upstairs on our behalf and at his own initiative) was but part of an excellent experience. The apartment was ideally positioned in the heart of Florence and close to everything, Jean even organised a secure parking spot just across the road whilst all interesting locations were a simple walk from the apartment. We strongly recommend this apartment and Jeans attentive service to all it has been an excellent experience, clearly our best so far in Italy.
