Our stay at Pam's loft in Roanoke was fabulous. The space was clean, well-lit, comfortable (especially the bed!), and in a great downtown location. We could walk to lots of great restaurants, and other fun parts of town were close as well. I would definitely recommend Lucky's for drinks and dinner, and an afternoon wandering around Black Dog Salvage.
In terms of the loft, it was spacious and accomodating. Every part was incredibly clean. Pam provided many excellent resources for local exploring including maps and advice, and she was available through our stay for any questions. We would most defintely stay here again on our next Roanoke visit, and would recommend it to anyone.
We really loved staying at Pamela's loft. It was very spacious and clean. The loft is situated in the city center, in walking distance of some restaurants and bars. Her couch was a great place to view the skyline of Roanoke and read a book The bed was very comfortable. She provided a lot of information about the town, things to do and restaurant menu's. Pamela was very helpful and flexible; an excellent host.
Pam, the homeowner, was great! She promptly contacted me when we confirmed the booking with detailed information on how the checkin process would go. I had a few questions prior to my arrival and she was quick to respond. The property is in a terrific location. Being able to walk to most of the major Roanoke attractions/restaurants was a huge plus. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. I would definitely stay here again!
Pamela is a fabulous host and her downtown loft really is cool. Gorgeous light floods through the nearly floor to ceiling windows that run the length of the loft. Everything was sparkling clean too.
The loft is walking distance to all of the charm of Roanoke and Pamela pointed out some of her favorite places too. We especially loved Black Dog Salvage (fun stuff!).
When we return to Roanoke - we will be booking Pamela's loft for sure.
What a wonderful apartment. Short walk into downtown roanoke, which is a lovely small town. Well worth a visit to the transport museum (nearly next door). Lovely host who recommended the restaurant downstairs (blue 5), where we had an excellent meal. Would recommend this apartment to anyone staying in this delightful small town.
We had a wonderful time on our visit to Roanoke. The loft was very clean , convenient, with a great touch of historic architecture . Easy to walk to the downtown area and enjoy the local shops and resturants. Pamela was a great hostess and we will return for another stay.
Pam's loft was excellent! It had plenty of charm and was extremely comfortable. The loft is right down town and next to some wonderful restaurants. Mill Mountain Park is a short drive away and absolutely beautiful.
Pam herself is a gracious host and even left $20 for parking when we were concerned my f150 might not fit in the nearby garage. (It does BTW)
All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely consider coming back if we ever make it back to Roanoke.
Pamela was awesome! The apartment was very comfy and it absolutely took the stress from three full day of filming and photography. I would definitely come back. Check out Texas tavern. It's like getting a burger in a Norman Rockwell painting
Excellent guest. We would happily host her again.
Pam, Liz, Joan and Pat are dream guests - relaxed and easy-going interesting people whom you warm to immediately.
They were so much fun we wished we were on holidays with them!
It was fantastic to see how interested they were in Ireland, our culture, music etc., and we were delighted to find out Liz was interested in learning Irish!
The girls had a packed programme and we had to admire their enthusiasm as they tried to pack in as much as they possibly could.
I think they enjoyed their night down in John B's pub where about fourteen musicians plus a couple of singers and storytellers entertained us all.
We would welcome back these ladies with open arms.
They are truly great ambassadors for their country.
Every Good Wish wherever you may go ladies and Thank You for giving us the pleasure of meeting you all.
