An excellent place to stay for travelers on a budget--it'(email hidden), very private and quiet. It's within walking distance to the Jewish National Library (roughly 1 mile) and there is transportation nearby. I stayed there as a single woman visiting the city for research and felt very comfortable. The room itself is a rather like a mother-in-law apartment that's adjacent to the owner's own house and yet is also within the gates of his property.
Yizhar`s studio apartment is in a very nice street in Jerusalem with best public transport connections to the city center. The apartment is equipped with everything one could possibly need and it also has a garden that makes the morning coffees or evenings even more enjoyable. Yizhar (email hidden), very flexible and also very helpful. I highly recommend this place, as it is very tidy, well equipped and in an ideal location.
Yizhar is a very friendly and discreet host. He was present out our arrival and departure – otherwise we enjoyed total privacy and independence in his apartment. It is located about 30 minutes on foot form the centre and Old City by foot. There is a public bus just outside of the apartment every 30 minutes. The beautiful garden just with many fruit trees in the middle of the city is very special.
The bed is relatively hard – and there is not much noise protection from the neighbour apartment.
The apartment is well equipped towels are provided. A very positive stay – thanks Yizhar! .
This is a very cute little studio with garden access and a kitchenette, in an appealing hillside neighbourhood not far from the centre of (website hidden) Yizhar lives next door and provided helpful information and tips—as well as a nice cup of coffee in the morning.
This space is ideal for a single guest or possibly for a couple who don't require a lot of individual space.
For the friendliness of the hosts alone I would recommend this place.
