I'm an artist based in New York city. My work mostly involves anything that revolves around video and photography. I love music, yoga and I'm adventurous with food. I try to be gluten-free as it keeps my energy and mood up but not very strict about it.
I usually travel with my parents or family (cheaper) so it takes a lot for me to travel alone even if I always wanted to do it. I eventually had to use Airbnb when I got stuck in London due to Hurricane Sandy hitting New York in late 2012. I wasn't supposed to be in London! I missed a connecting flight days before Sandy hit. After 4 days of being in awful airport hotels, I realized I'll be stuck in London for another week so I quickly filled up all my info on Airbnb and had a wonderful first experience from cost savings to being hosted by a wonderful couple to being in an awesome neighborhood and feeling like a local.
I am pretty laid back and sometimes quiet as I can be more of an observer depending on the crowd. I like to teach/help other in anyway I can. People think I am generally nice and 'cool'.
Life experiences are important and it's great to meet people through Airbnb and learn from each other.
