This apt is the best "pied a terre" for a stay in Paris. The apt is very charming and feels like home.
Sonia and Martine made sure we had everything we needed. And foremost the location is the BEST in Paris.
You can rent this place with closed eyes, you ll be sure to have a wonderful experience.
Thanks again Sonia and Martine!!
Sonia met us at the apartment at noon on the 30th, the check in time we had arranged. We found the apartment to be well equipped, very roomy, and comfortable. Sonia was very helpful in showing us how to navigate setting up internet and the operation of the appliances. The apartment gives one a true feel of living in Paris. The vintage building has a beautiful entry and stairway. Many attractions are close by. The Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, and the Seine to mention just a few. The chaise lounges were a treat. They were our preferred means of relaxing during the day. The suggested wine shop and grocer were ideal. We also found a place that prepares meals to take home. Best to get there early to make your selection as the most popular items go quickly. They will hold your morning selection in the fridge for later pick up. We visited the Eric Kayser bakery on the corner daily. The lemon tarts there are awesome. We would suggest getting a Paris Pass before traveling, it's a great deal. Sonia even set up our cab ride to the airport suggesting the pick up time to give us plenty of time to catch our flight. She even met us as the cab arrived to pick up the keys and say goodbye. Martine checked in by email a few times to make sure we were enjoying our visit and asked if we needed anything.
We didn't meet Martine, but she was very communicative through e-mail. Her regular housekeeper was on vacation so we didn't meet her until check-out, but her substitute, Lili, was very nice and helped us very well with her limited English and our limited French. Lili even called a taxi for our early departure at 7 am on a Sunday.
The apartment is lovely, and even more charming than the pictures. This is an apartment made for readers, which we are. I didn't want to leave my comfy chaise longue, and one day I almost didn't go out to explore Paris! The bathroom and kitchen were clean with all conveniences, and the beds were comfortable. And the location is perfect, with the Louvre and Saint-Germain-des-Pres in walking distance. We had a wonderful time at Martine's apartment, and I will be recommending it to my friends who visit Paris regularly.
Martine's apartment was the perfect place for two couples with only a few days in Paris. Lili met us and introduced us to everything we needed to know about the apartment. The location was incredible and made it possible to walk to the places we wanted as well as easy access to the Metro. I would stay here again as my first choice. The neighbourhood is lovely. The one drawback seemed to be neighbours, likely people on holidays, who didn't understand how their party noise affected others. We understand this could happen anywhere.
Great apartment - beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Great location also - small, quiet street, and only a short walk from the Musee d'Orsay and the Louvre. Owner and housekeeper both very friendly and helpful.
Best time in Paris at fantastic apartment. Simply loved Martine's place in fantastic location. Close to Louvre, musee d'orsay, metro and great restaurants (Les Antiquaires).and a grocery store. Simple perfect place to stay for our family of 4. Martine had her housekeeper Sonia meet us on arrival land she provided a great overview of everything. Sonia arranged out taxi for the airport as well. Martine surprised us by having Sonia deliver a bottle of very nice champagne for our wedding anniversary. Thanks Martine and Sonia.
Our stay at Martine's beautiful apartment was amazing. It is quite large and had lots of room for our family of four. It was bright and very clean when we arrived. Sonia welcomed us and showed us everything we needed to know. Communication with Martine and Sonia was excellent. There was a binder with lots of information and recommendations while in Paris. We appreciated it. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay Martine!
We have been in Martine's flat in last July for 2 weeks and we enjoyed very much every moment we spent there. It was a great pleasure to be housed by Martine who usually provides precious information to her guests and make them feel pleased sharing her Parisians’ soul and good taste in art decor. Going around, day and night at sidewalk cafes, lovely boutiques in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, as well as, visiting museums and crossing bridges with my family that included relatives at 80 and 30 years old was really easy and pleasurable. Additionally, besides all kindness of Martine we count on helpful Sonia (her great assistant) for everything we needed.

Martine was very informative and helpful. The place was a wonderful location and just as described. I would easily choose to stay there again if returning to Paris.
