I stated what I experienced in the first review, but the response from the host, Andrea, was very rude and sensational. She used the word"audacity." I think she is embarrassing herself with her temperamental retort. She also neglected to state that she required that I leave the cleaning fee in cash in her room. I had thought that she would deduct the fee from Airbnb since they held $100 security in deposit fee. She also exaggerated her truths--how can one possibly leave 10 water spots during a short two-night stay? My stay at hers house turned out to be one of the worse experiences ever, therefore discouraging me from ever wanting to choose a rental house over a hotel for a short trip in the future.
Also,I guess everyone can be negligent some time. I might accidentally leave a water spot on the owner's wooden table. Although my friend and I tried our best to clean the table, according to the owner, the water spot is still visible after our efforts. What was even more outrageous was that she wanted to charge us $800 to remove that stain. Trust me, if you don’t want to waste your money on removing a water spot or dust or other tiny stuffs , don’t choose her house.
