I am sociable and friendly. I am a keen cook and partial to the odd glass of good wine. I eat out regularly. I cycle everywhere and love exploring food markets, the arts and the outdoors.

Had a lovely time at Sophies, she is the perfect host, friendly and great to chat to. She really makes you feel at home. I loved my room, overlooking back garden, nice and quiet and the bed was so comfy I wanted to stay longer...There are lots of great places to eat nearby. Thanks Sophie, I hope to stay again! (Give my love to Bear!)
I had a great stay at Sophie's flat in Camberwell. The room (also the flat!) is beautiful, spacious and comfortable with such a plush, comfy bed, I would have been happy for a lazy sleep-in rather than rising early for the course I was taking in London! Sophie was an ideal host, ensuring I had everything I needed and giving me tips on great places to eat, things to see in the area, and the easiest way to get around. This is the first time I've used airbnb on my own (previously tried it with a friend in NYC) and she's a terrific airbnb ambassador and a lovely person to meet. I highly recommend booking with Sophie.
Staying with Sophie in Camberwell was a delight on so many different levels. Firstly Sophie is an excellent host, great fun to chat with and very relaxed and friendly. Her apartment is clean and tidy and the room we stayed was comfortable and spacious. Camberwell is a fascinating area of south London and there are loads of interesting things to see and great places to eat at within easy walking distance and central London is an easy short train journey. The station is a 5 minute walk from the flat. We really enjoyed seeing a different London from the usual tourist sights but still being able to get places such as the O2 and the V&A without difficulty. We even walked into central London one day! If you are looking for a base in London then you couldn't do better.
Sophie's place is a great choice, great balance between affordable and nice, and I would definitely book again. The flat is located in up and coming South London, with fantastic bus connections to all parts of town. The house is spacious and tastefully decorated. The bedroom is sunny, overlooking the garden, and the bed very very comfortable. The coffee machine is wonderful.
Sophie is a fantastic host - easy going and fun to talk to. You'll love her cat, Bear!
Very nice room, such a comfortable bed !! great breakfast and Sophie is a lovely person, kind, helpful and let me in for a late arrival almost at last minute notice...also had her bike to enjoy for few hours. Good location for public transportation to central London. Very nice flat also...worth to go back there !! Thanks Sophie.
i had a very lovely stay at sophie's place - possibly the most comfortable bed i've ever slept in!
everything was very comfortable and worked well. sophie's apartment is very beautiful and it was a pleasure to be there. sophie is very friendly and relaxed, so i felt at home. she also arranged very delicious breakfast goodies :) yum yum!
I would like to put more than 5 stars for our stay at Sophie place, but I can't... I think that tell all !
I had a perfect stay with Sophie. Relaxed and comfortable and very clean accommodation.
Great breakfast and conversation and a wonderful location with buses to the centre every 4 minutes but lots and lots of interesting stuff and great restaurants and bars in Camberwell to just not bother :))
I hope to become a regular as is easy walking distance from Kings college.
Had a great 2-night stay with Sophie in her funky apartment in Camberwell, South London, she is really interesting to chat to and a great host. Making an effort to ensure we were looked after, but also giving us time and space to do our own thing.
The room was tidy and warm and looks out into a cute little garden, shower was warm, had plenty of pressure and we had clean towels, was useful to have access to her quaint kitchen as my partner was pregnant and was quite picky with her meals, the cat Bear was curious and very friendly, and the flat was located just around the corner from the Art School, in a quiet residential area of Victorian houses with a lot of character around 5-10 minutes walk from Denmark Hill train station which has direct train links to King's Cross.
Apart from coming in on the Train you can also use the Bus routes, which can be a bit tricky to learn, but travelling this way well is also cheaper and the area is well connected to central and south London. I recommend bus 36 for trains in Victoria and shopping in Marble Arch and 40 for London Bridge.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sophie's place and if we pass by London again would be great to stay another time.
Nice, communicative lady, she is respectful for the home rules and to us hosts, and her fellow traveller Lauren as well. A pity they stayed for a so short time!
Sophie and her friend were perfect guests. I am sure they had a great time in Hobart and made the most of it. I found Sophie a very confident person and a good communicator. They left the Gallery in excellent condition and I hope they have had a fabulous time in Australia. What's more, Sophie is from my home town in Uk!
It was a pleasure to host Sophie and enjoyed to meet her. She's an amid traveler and who is very friendly and lively person. We welcome her anytime always.
Sophie creates a great sense of warmth and fun wherever she is. She is a fantastic cook and great company. Her house is full of warmth and fun. The room is quiet and looks over her lovely garden which (email hidden) for getting away from it all. I would find it hard to think of anyone who wouldn't enjoy spending a few days with Soph
