I find the use of profane language in a review a bit offensive. I was definitely not, as the guest suggests 'bitchy'; but rather, I tried to clarify that check-out time was noon, as I wanted to accomodate for the next guest and make sure that there were no problems for either guest. Not to mention, I was incredibly flexible about Kev's arrival time -- which kept changing. He arrived very late (around midnight), which is not very convenient for me; but I did not complain.
As for the privacy, I always urge my guests to carefully review the listing -- this is not a private bedroom, therefore, it's a given that some privacy will be sacrificed. But I do my best to close my bedroom door, and give the guest space.
The bedding was CLEAN, and all sheets/blankets were washed immediately before Kev's arrival -- so that is a completely false statement on Kev's part. However, it is true that the building is quite cramped and small -- it's the lower east side, that's to be expected. Again, all of this can be gathered from the listing itself.
