I'm french and I'm living in Mexico for 8 years.
This is a very impressive apartment in an absolutely perfect location. Many of the restaurants and bars recommended by guide books were only blocks away. It's also quiet and very comfortable. Everything is just as Pierre said it would be. Fantastic spot!
Pierre's penthouse was really superb, so spacious, the interior was really homely with touches of Mexican traditional pieces.
Pierre meet us at the apt to give keys, he left us water and beers in the fridge.
The apartment was very secure and the neighbourhood really safe, and in the great location, in between 2 great parks, lots of shops, bars and restaurants.
Pierre was always contactable and checked up on us after earthquake in middle of night and also booked us a taxi to the airport we we left due to our little Spanish, which was really great.
We have and would recommend this apt to friends and others visiting Mexico DF.
Espacioso departamento, ubicado en una zona agradable para caminar, restaurantes, y parques cercas. Pierre estuvo atento a cualquier inconveniente.
We had a wonderful time in Pierre's home. It was spacious and comfortable. The neighborhood was perfect, close walks to parks, restaurants and bars and short walks to the Metro. We never took a taxi. literally.
The apartment is quite spacious with two full bathrooms. We
We had friends and our young son with us and the place was a perfect sanctuary in the middle of this beautiful city. Thank you Pierre for the wonderful place, we would happily visit again.
We highly recommend Pierre's place to anyone headed to Mexico DF. Adios!
Pierre is a great host. We had everything we needed - tons of space with beautiful light, comfy beds, convenient location, outdoor space. Loved it!
Staying at Pierre's was an absolute pleasure! amazing location and amazing views
A unique spot in Mexico City in the most trendy neighbour in DF.
We look forward to come back again.
Pierre was really helpful, he showed the flat to my brother and allow him to picked up the keys before I arrived to Mexico.
I have only good things to say about Pierre's apartment. It is exactly as advertised: large, light-filled, and in a fantastic location in the heart of the condesa neighborhood of mexico city. the apartment is between two parks on a beautiful tree-lined boulevard with lots of restaurants, cafes and bars nearby. the apartment was very safe, comfortable, and even more attractive in person than it appears in the photographs. there are two good sized bedrooms, each with its own bathroom; one of those has a tub and the other a shower. i didn't notice anything weird about the water heater and actually the shower was totally fine. there's also a balcony overlooking the boulevard with outdoor stools and we really enjoyed sitting out there. conveniently, there's a grocery store a few blocks away and a 24 hour 7-11 store around the corner.
pierre was very communicative throughout the entire process and is a really nice guy.
anyway, i HIGHLY recommend this apartment to everyone. i would definitely return to it myself and hope it's available the next time i visit mexico city.
5 stars! We stayed 8 days. Pierre was very responsive. His girlfriend was incredibly gracious and helpful as well. Spacious penthouse located on a really great street (even better if you want to stay longer than a few days, I think, because it's near everything in Condesa but is on a super leafy and peaceful street). Definitely a bachelor pad but in a cool way with great decorations, and very clean. Master bedroom has a gigantic bed, larger than king size.
A couple tips:
- The water heater/tank leaks gas when turned on. Not defective, apparently, that may be just how Mexican water heaters are-- Pierre also had a plumber come out and look for leaks and there were none-- but enough so it fills the main room with a strong smell of gas after it turns on. You can work around this by turning the water heater to Pilot (effectively off) when not using the shower, then turning it to Max immediately before taking a shower. This means it'll only smell like gas during/after showers, instead of randomly throughout the day/night.
- Don't use the shower in the master bedroom if you don't have to, use the central one-- the master shower not only gets water all over the floor and walls, it has much lower water pressure than the central one, which is pretty great-- the best shower I used in Mexico City among a hostel and two Airbnbs.
Pierre and his family and friends were very kind ! Clean and quiet people, exactly what a host look for...
I recommend him.
Una persona muy agradable, muy facile de comunicarse con el. muy recomandable.
Great guest with many good tips for a airbnb starter like me.
