Thank you Nick and Kate for your input~
Both the oven and toaster are brand new and in perfect working order- we checked- we are sorry to learn that you apparently did not know how to light the oven- we'll leave written instructions for future guests...It hadn't crossed our minds until now that some people are not accustomed to having to light a euro style oven.
We are very clear with our guests and let them know that we are available. We ask that if there are any problems to alert us- we responded to the water pressure issue with in minutes of receiving your email. Our plumber certainly would have attended to both showers but you only informed us of the issue in the first level shower.. and no mention of an a.c. drip~ all of this could have been handled with one clear email.
I'm so sorry.. there isn't an owner or property manager that can know if there are any issues if not informed.
We've taken note of your input and will address thoughts raised that have validity. Thank you for your suggestion regarding the exterior fan.. Most guests who visit the tropics durring the months of Aug- Nov know to expect very hot weather,it's often over 100degrees and outdoor fans would only blow hot air around . Most of the year we have a lovely ocean breeze that blows through the property.
We are often told by our guests that Casa Rubi is much nicer than our photos-
Our suggestion to you as a guest is that you clearly and quickly communicate any needs and issues that may arise so that hosts have a chance to please you during your stay!
It's disappointing to receive such a mixed review when communication from you could have been better and yeilded such a different experience for you..which would have then resulted in a much more positive experience for us knowing we had pleased you.
Best as always and thank you for being our guests.
June and David
