Una, and her companion Wolf, were most welcome guests...and of greatest duration thus far at one full week. We met at the market nearest the cottage to jointly provision, which was a comedic endeavor, as I had not yet provided continental breakfast provisions for such a term before. After joking a bit, I said to Una, "Guests are usually pleased with my choices, so why don't you shop for your other food items while I do my thing." Well, I guess it worked out okay as sometime later Wolf said I had shopped generously. Thank goodness.
Anyway, I had a very enjoyable time showing them around the property on a mini-hike and then orienting them to the vagaries of the cottage. Their own rescue dog, Miami, played well with my Luna to the extent I knew they both would have loved each other's company all week.
I can only hope Una, Wolf, and the canine who is definitely no wolf at all, will transit the continent sometime in the future to visit our cottage once again.
Lovely guests and people! Very considerate and excellent communication throughout the process. I would happily have Una and her husband back in the future and would definitely recommend them to future hosts
