Nan and Epi were delightful hosts. The house is an old beach cabin with a beautiful view. This is a relaxed and friendly place to stay.

This was an awesome place to stay! Nan and Epi went out of their way to make me feel welcomed and at home; as soon as I arrived Epi took time out of his day to take me on a tour of the Island, and the next day dropped me in the centre of town.
The room is lovely, comfortable and airy with a gorgeous sea view where you can watch the sunset and the ferry landing at the docks. It is very easy to get to from the ferry landing (5 minute walk) and wonderfully hidden, placed directly in front of the water.
Vashon is a beautiful place to stay, definitely seems to be a hidden treasure. Some lovely coffee shops and independent stores, little beaches covered in driftwood, beautiful old wooden houses and nature all around.
Staying with Nan and Epi was a great way to see the Island, would go back in a heartbeat! Thank you both for your hospitality.
We had a great time staying at Nan and Epi's place--the room was very comfortable with gorgeous views and the hospitality was great. The mini-fridge and coffee-maker in the room were convenient to have. The cats and dogs were super friendly and Nan and Epi were gracious, welcoming hosts. We wholeheartedly recommend this place!
Our stay at Nan's place was unfortunately just for one night as a place to wind down and relax after avert long day of traveling from the East coast. It was absolutely perfect. Taking the trail to get there may be a little tricky if you have tons of stuff with you, but the house and view are definitely worth it. Everyone at the home (both humans and animals alike!) were very warm and welcoming and made us feel at ease immediately. We wish we could have stayed longer, and will definitely be back if we ever need a place to stay out here again!
Hugs!!! Let us know if we can be helpful in any way on your quest this week.
Nan and Epi's home was fantastic. A great perspective on the puget sound, with images of ferry boats passing through the opening of grand fir trees. Best part of all, was the warmth and openness with which Nan and Epi invited me into their home. I just felt plain....at ease!
Hope to see you on the Island soon.
I loved the house and view, and the cool way to get there by trail. A special place. Nan is a wonderful host. The cats and dog are very friendly.
oh my. this is good to know. thanks so much!
I absolutely loved my stay with Nan and Epi. Their seaside slice of heaven was exactly what I needed. Epi was so helpful and treated me like a part of their family. Nan is just a breathe of fresh air. The house was perfect and the room immaculate. Thanks again guys.
This is Nan's second time to stay with us for SX. We have had great email interchanges but unfortunately still not met. She checks herself in & out with no problem and is a tidy, conscientious guest. hope to see her next year!
These people were charming. Although we didn't get to visit but a little while, they seem like the type of people anyone would be comfortable with. I also want to mention how we loved their very cool dog. I wish our dogs were as well behaved.
Nest time we head to Phoenix, we're headed your way. Thanks so much!
They were great! Up front and clear communication.
Nan was a fun, respectful, adventurous guest! She showed up at the door wearing her bike helmet, winter parka and a big smile. Nan rode the Amtrak Train to the Vancouver station and was able to bike to the Hilton and then to Casa de Colores. She is an easygoing, self-reliant guest with a kind heart. She explored some the local sites, art galleries and even caught a movie at the downtown cinema. I'd happily host Nan again and hope to cross paths at future Tilth events! Thanks Nan.
Nan was easy to communicate with prior to her arrival. They left the cabin in very good condition and everything was taken care of that was asked of them. They were very good guests.
Nan was a great guest and was helpful and flexible about the tidyness of the earlier guest. I really appreciated her help.
Great guests. Left the place in great condition.
Nan and Epi and Thomas! What a lovely and vigorous crew! Thomas and Nan arrived by train, bus and foot. It was an easy and comfortable connection these adventurers, brief but full. They left the Robin's Nest in beautiful shape, and gathered the laundry....a wonderful bonus. We'd highly recommend them to other hosts.
Nan was a wonderful guest! They were very respectful of the apartment and left it in perfect condition. I would welcome them back any time.
Thanks for coming to Vancouver and keeping our place nice and tidy! We look forward to seeing you guys again.
