This is a great appartement, which is well enough equipped for my needs. Location was great and close to many restaurants, coffee shops and city center. During the daytime there was some noise of a nearby construction. Nikki was interested in my experiences and helpful for assisting me with all my needs.

I had initially booked for two nights with the intention of booking for 2 weeks if the unit checked out.
The host had a problem with this booking and put us in another unit in the same building. Regardless of the unit, this building is an office building under-construction. It's noisy with hammering.
It took us 30 minutes to check in.
Upon checking in - we entered what appeared to be a spoiled Sorority Girl's Rats Nest. It smelled like cheap perfume, one room was not furnished - yet the bed was made as if they were expecting a guest.
I called Nikki to ask for the wi-fi password for the unit and to confirm we were in the right unit. She gave me the password and confirmed we were in the right unit. We decided to rough it.
The next day, my fiance was in the apartment and two men mysteriously entered the unit with no explanation. They left after she questioned them.
That night at 11PM Nikki sent me a text message saying we were in the wrong unit and she had a family member that needed it. The next morning she sent me a text message with a different explanation followed by a text with yet another explanation.
We decided to just move out. It was extremely unclear if she even had permission to host these units.
Nikki's American friend decided to show up that morning as we were packing up and moving out. Presumably to supervise.
At this point two Vietnamese women entered the apartment. They walked to a closet that was locked, unlocked it and motioned for us to take a suitcase. The friend started yelling at them to leave and there was a very odd exchange.
The women were waiting outside the door when we left, and the friend again started yelling at them to "GO, GO".
I have no idea what the exchange was about, but the conclusion I drew was that Nikki was a kid that commandeered some family apartments, and didn't have permission to host them and simply got called on it. That was the vibe.
The apartment is indeed in an excellent location. The building is sketchy. It's mostly a shabby office building.
Luckily, we know Saigon very well, and all this non-sense and incompetence wasn't much of a setback.
If you're a traveler and don't know your way around the city, you would have been seriously put out.
Regardless, there is no way I would ever get mixed up with Nikki again. She didn't listen, spoke and emailed with haste, and cost me a day's worth of work.
I accidentally made a reservation for the wrong dates and Nikki was very helpful about making sure that I was refunded. She is very helpful and professional!
It's a very nice and clean apartment in the historical district of Saigon. You can walk to many sights from there. Strongly recommended :)
Thanks Nikki for your hospitality! :)
This was a perfect apartment for my needs, and in a really great location. I spent a few days walking all over the city. I was unexpectedly a late arrival (flight delay), but still had no problem at all finding the apartment. Nikki was out of town, but communicative throughout. Will definitely look to stay here again during my next trip.
Lots of coffee shops around, but I also found a quiet one set back off the road in a residential nook if you walk up Chu Manh Trinh St. I think it was called 84 City Coffee. Simple and quiet. For me, it was a great place to work.
Also, The Lanchaster has a daily rate for ~$7 USD/time. Not bad at all.
The apartment was great! Everything was exactly as advertised and the location is perfect, making the city very walkable. We very much enjoyed our time in HCMC at Nikki's apartment.
Great Place to stay, Very clean and comfortable with a nice view of the city to remind you where you are. Supermarket across the road, ATM's and as many restaurants as want all within a 100 Meter radius. I walked to nearly all the major attractions in HCMC from the apartment with ease. But if it was to hot a taxi ride is a very cheap and comfortable alternative with a rank just across the road I never had to wait for a taxi. I had Awesome time in VN and felt safe and secure in the apartment, Nikki was very prompt with to respond if had any questions regarding apartment. After 12 days it felt like home. Thanks Nikki
We recently spent 10 days in Nikki's wonderful apartment. The apartment is beautiful, clean, and modern, the location is perfect, the WIFI is the fastest I have ever seen (35Mbps down/43Mbps up), and Nikki went out of her way to made certain everything was perfect for us.
For a few of the days we were there, there was very loud daytime construction upstairs. I work nights, so this was an issue for me. Nikki rented us a room at a nearby hotel (at her expense), just so I could have a place to sleep.
The construction is complete now, thus no longer an issue.
Nikki was extremely responsive, providing advice on food, sights, entertainment – making dinner reservations for us one evening. She even took us out for an evening to show us the Saigon nightlife.
You could not hope for a better host while visiting Saigon. In addition, Nikki is one of the most outstanding people you will ever meet.
Thanks, Nikki, for helping to make our trip a memorable one.
quiet, accommodating, communicative tenants. she is welcome back any time!
Sophisticated and smart traveler.
