my name is Kriszta, I am a 20 something young professional living and working in New York City. I am originally from Budapest, Hungary and moved to NY three years ago to attend college (I graduated with a product design degree from Parsons The New School for Design). Since then I have been working full time as a graphic designer and getting back into hobbies I had to put on the back burner during college (such as Italian, knitting, cooking and reading lots and lots of non coursework related books:)
My main interests are design, art, and architecture. I love making things with my hands, be the medium wood, ceramics, textiles or screenprinting. I am always working on new projects and am always open for new knowledge. I like to self teach myself new skills and programs, right now I am learning how to code, program and Adobe Flash. When I just want to chill and hang out I roam the streets of New York City, go to art galleries, explore markets or just have a good old fashioned brunch. Two of my most priced possessions are probably my bike and my computer:)
I am also an avid traveler. Although lately I haven't been able to travel as much as I would like (looking at you, full time job), I have done a good amount of travel, especially around Europe and Southeast Asia. Some of my favorite travel experiences are climbing the Great Wall of China, visiting Angkor Wat in Cambodia, surfing in Bali, backpacking around Southwest India, camping in Croatia, snowboarding trips to the French Alps and a wine tasting trip around the Paso Robles Wine Country, topped off with In n' Out burgers and a chocolate margarita at the Madonna Inn.
