My family has owned the Nettuno apartment for many years. It’s one of our favorite spots in the world!I was brought up in Rome. My father worked with the UN Food and Agriculture Organization headquartered there. Sali and I met in Nettuno and after marrying, we spent our first year together there. When we left Italy my sister and her husband used it as a nest for weekends and holidays. We are now in our 60’s and are semi-retired. In Florida I work as a housing inspector for a state “affordable housing” project. Sali has a classical music radio program, she works at a woman’s shelter and volunteers at several organizations. Since my sister passed away, Sali and I try to go to Italy at least once a year (usually when the flight rates are a little more affordable). The rest of the time we try to let others enjoy it and help us cover our costs.
