The place is good enough, plenty of space and 5-10 mins walk to Ri De Roma subway station. Stayed for 5 days. It is in the (website hidden) worked well. Rigazzi has the best pizza nearby or there is a doner place next to the apartment, but they both don't open until after 7. Our biggest disappointments were the Internet never worked and the host was 20-25 mins late when meeting us to let us in during a hot part of the day when we were jet lagged. Ok place, besides this.
As just to make everything clear: please pay your attention to the fact that the apartment is located in the socle of the building. Just in front of the apartment there are some garbage cans, so every morning the car is coming to pick it up and it so noisy, that you may think that it happens in your room. The overlook is on a kind of terrace, which is below the level of the pavement, some times the passers-by dropped there the empty bottles. One room doesn't have the external windows, but one window looks out onto the stairwell and other onto adjoining room. The bath is so small that the showering looks like an acrobatic performance.
The location is not very good.
In conclusion, I may say that I should rent another apartment for my holidays in Rome!
Upon arrival to Apartment "Dreams" we buzzed and buzzed Eduardo to be let in, but to no avail. Finally someone was leaving so we went into the lobby, escaping from the scorching heat. We walked downstairs to try and find the unit ourselves but there was no clues as to which one it was. We finally gave up and (international) texted him, and also managed to get a bit of wifi to inbox him on airbnb. After about 40mins of waiting an older Italian woman who speaks NO ENGLISH, not a word, came out with our names on a post it and brought us downstairs. She showed us where our towels were, the key to open the patio door, the apartment keys, and left. There was a welcome note from Eduardo notifying us he couldn't meet us because of work, but here is the wifi password... A few comments: The private garden was private to the people to the left and right of you - however it could be looked down on by the people walking by on the sidewalk. Andddd it would have been more enjoyable if there was actually patio furniture outside to enjoy it. The bedrooms were generous in size and the beds decent. Plenty of storage so you could close away your belongings and have a tidy space. The AC in the room was a blessing after a long, hot day outside. Everything in the apartment was very clean and tidy. It has been well taken care of. The washroom was functional, but the tub/shower was comical. It was a half tub with a grove which forces you to sit and bathe, and the water pressure was almost non existent. Initially when you turned it on it came out faster, but 5 seconds later it was a sad, mediocre steam. The living room had two chairs for seating and was not comfortable if you wanted to try and stretch out and relax. If you wanted to do anything other than sit upright, than you had to lay on the bed. The tv worked well and had many channels. The wifi was so hit and miss- there was never a time when it wasn't acting up. Unplugging it and rebooting didn't do anything and you could be sitting right beside the modem/router and it still was intermittent. The kitchen has the basic requirements to prepare a meal. We couldn't figure out how to use the oven, so we couldn't reheat our left overs. There is a great pizza/kebab place next door for food!!! Overall, it is a decent place to stay, but frustrating at the same time. The shower, wifi and lack of social area were disappointments to us BUT it was convenient to the metro station and had 2 supermarkets close by. We wouldn't stay here again when in Rome, but it was decent enough for our 4 nights. Eduardo was great with communications leading up to our stay, it's too bad the overall end experience...
This Apartment is great, especially if you are looking to stay for longer than 3 nights. Its clean, tidy and great size.
Its located about 6 stops from all the major sights (3 from Termini Station) but you dont have to change lines at all. The area itself seemed safe and we were walking around late at night without any issues.
Eduardo is very reliable and easy to get in contact with, I highly reccommend this apartment.
The reservation was canceled 24 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Had an good time in Rome and Eduardo's place was great value in a good location close to bus and metro stops. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Thanks!!
Eduardo's apartment was amazing. We were 4 in the apartment and it was very comfortable. Very quick walk to the metro and a 10 min ride gets you to the city center. Would definitely recommend staying here!
A very beautiful appartment, near the metro station, near the super market. Everthing is OK unless the Internet. We had stayed there for 4 nights but the Internet had not worked till the last night. I suggest that the host must check the Internet line before giving the keys to the guests. In general, I recommend this appartment.
Response from Eduardo:
They were great guests. After their arrival there was a problem with the internet connection but they were very patient and nice. I'm still sorry for the problem and I hope they had a good staying afterall.
Nice and clean flat. The host was very kind and we enjoyed our stay here.
Thanks Eduardo, everything was fine.
Transportation from the airport is easy, thanks for the detailed travel instructions. the center is close by and the apartment was ready for us. Stay in Rome we have great fun.
