I am passionate about yoga, yoga philosophy, travel, reading, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, cooking and hiking. I sing in a local women's acapella choir called Mystica and I love to dance. Anything where I get to move my body to music makes me smile. Nature is my God and living in the Byron Shire is chock full of the magnificence of nature, abundant wildlife, flora and fauna. My friends describe me as fun, funny, quirky and vivacious. I am interested in people and what makes them tick. Helping people get the most out of their stay at my home and experiencing the beauty and diversity that the Byron Shire has to offer is my goal in sharing this great space. I lived and travelled in Canada, Mexico, Sth America, US mainland and Hawaii for eight years and have been back in Australia for just over two years. On my return to Australia I decided not to go back to my home town of Sydney but fulfilled a long time dream to live in the Byron Shire where I had enjoyed some amazing holidays. So many people were kind and generous to me during my travels, I look forward to being able to 'pay it forward'. It truly is the people I met that made my experiences rich and memorable. Five things I can't live without: Friends, fresh, healthy, tasty food, loving touch, my MacBook Air, my sense of humour, an engaging book (one of my favourite authors is Barbara Kingsolver), swimming in the ocean, hiking to Byron lighthouse and seeing the dolphins...............oops that's more than eight but I am not one to draw inside the lines. Some of my favourite song lyrics that resonate as an expression of my life are from a Carole King song, Tapestry. "My life has been a tapestry of rich and royal hue, an ever changing vision of the everchanging view. A wonderous woven magic in bits of blue and gold, a tapestry to feel and see impossible to hold." Life is ephemeral, our memories live on in our hearts and minds. I hope if you stay with me, you will have a memorable experience, I will do my utmost to make your stay comfortable, relaxed and fun.
