The apartment located central in the Paris, next to the metro station. It's a apartment combination of comfort, excellent service and magic design. Emerik is very kind and friendly. Since we were in a trouble he came to solve it without any hesitation.
Great location and amazing apartment. Perfect size for 2-4 people, made very comfortable by Paul. Would recommend it to anyone looking to visit Paris for a few days.
The reservation was canceled 121 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
The apartment was as described. It was comfortable and quaint in a great area of Paris. We had some difficulties with communications via email and on arrival we were very uncertain of how we would get into the apartment. Luckily, another resident of the apartment block was able to contact the person waiting to let us in. A couple of little things would improve the stay; supply of adequate toilet paper and dish washing detergent. The apartment had an unusual odour, possibly due to washing drying.
We really enjoyed Paul's apartment. The location was convenient. The supermarket was close by as well as the metro. What we really liked about the apartment was that we really felt like we were at home.
Paul was very helpful in answering all of our questions, promptly and efficiently. The last day we stayed a bit longer and he came over and helped us take our luggage downstairs. We definitely would recommend this apartment!
Thank you Paul!
This apartment is great, perhaps even better than it appears in the pictures. It is in a central area, accessible by a number of metro stations and velib stations (city bikes). As we were just one couple we didn't use the second (attic) bedroom, the smaller of the two, but it looked comfortable enough. The Marche Richard Lenoir is right around the corner, open Sunday and Thursday, which is a great place to buy food and flowers. The hosts where friendly and contactable. I highly recommend staying in this lovely home.
We really enjoyed our stay at Paul's apartment. We did not meet him as he was away but a friend of his flatmate was there to let us in at the agreed time. His flatmate Emerik was quick to answer any questions we had. All in communication was good. Paul's father arrived to collect the key again very prompt at the agreed time so we could catch our train home.
The apartment is lovely, full of house plants, views of Paris rooftops and a nice kitchen, and bathroom. It has a real Parisian garrett feel- nice furniture and lighting- very relaxing space. The beds are comfortable and nice shower. There is a tv but we could not figure out how to use it!
There is a Carrefour supermarket on the same road as the apartment which is very handy and a nice boulangerie nearby which sadly closed halfway through our stay for the August holidays. But plenty other choices a little further away.
We were a family of four, two kids aged 6 & 4. The bedroom up the ladder is definitely not suitable for kids as the windows do not have locks and they could easily open them and fall out as low down, same level as bed. Also the sliding hatch would be a bit dangerous for them if they woke in the night and needed to climb down. But it's a lovely small room for teenagers or adults- like a treehouse nest with three windows and wonderful views. The kids were very happy sharing the large double bed on the main floor- again they could have opened the window but it was a bit higher up so less precarious than the other bedroom.
The apartment was very handy for getting to Eurodisney- we just did a day trip and got back no problem by 1am.
Walking distance to everything in the Marais, and Rue Bretagne with all it's lovely food shops and a nice playground in a beautiful square. In fact there are playgrounds everywhere so great for young children.
We would definitely recommend this apartment, it's a great location, and was a lovely place for us to hang out in when the kids had gone to sleep- so much nicer than a hotel room by far. The kids had an amazing time playing camps in the roof eaves and didn't want to come home! Thanks Paul.
This is a very unique apartment in a fantastic part of Paris. I would recommend it for everyone except those that have mobility issues (lots and lots of stairs).
The area is simply buzzing with trendy hip restaurants and bars. We loved the area and the apartment was a great escape. Would stay here again.
Paul's loft was ideal for trip to Paris. It was clean, with a cool layout and plenty of space as compared to a hotel room -- which would have cost us more. There are several great bakeries in the neighborhood, and a large (for Paris) grocer nearby, making self catering convenient and economical.
The neighborhood is fantastic, too. You are only a couple of minutes from Chemin Vert metro, or a 5-10 min walk down the boulevard to Bastille. We loved our stay there and would definitely do so again.
I didn't had a very good experience with this guest! Things broken and spoiled and the childish attitude of not telling. It's the first time i'm obliged to not recomend a guest.
Paul and friend were very nice, I recommend this guest.
Paul is a very clean and kind guy. I can't say something negative about his stay in my home.
