Mary and Ralph are artists, glassblowers and more. Look for our company (Heron Glass) on the web to find out more about our artwork. We also like to hike, raft, ski and meet new people.
Great place to stay!
Very clean, well-kept, and large cabin in the back of the lot behind the glass blowing building. Found my hosts to be warm and receiving, especially Ralph, in spite of this being the busiest season of the year for them. The room is exactly as shown in photos with a very comfortable bed and fully functional kitchen. Kitchen bed and dining all open together with a private bath. Better here than a hotel any day! I see me returning to Ski Grand Targhee and hope to stay with Ralph and Mary again.
Great accommodations in a completely renovated self contained cottage! The hosts Ralph and Marry were very gracious and helpful. Don't miss their glass blowing studio. I highly recommend staying there!
Ralph and Mary have a great little place! We stayed one night on our way to Yellowstone and we couldn't have asked for anything better. The place was warm, clean and had a nice bed. This is definitely a place we will look into again.
Ralph and Mary were excellent hosts. They were very friendly and very helpful. The cottage was clean and cozy. We couldn't have asked for more. We look forward to our next trip to Driggs.
Loved our stay at the cozy & comfortable Romantic Intown Cottage. It exceeded our expectations & afforded us everything we desired to make our stay such an enjoyable one. Add the charming town of Driggs, majestic mountain scenery, memorable hikes & wild animal sightings to complete the picture of total contentment. Mary & Ralph provided guidance on nearby hiking trails, restaurants, & local attractions; even providing a canister of bear spray for our hikes! Highly recommend.
The cottage is a really great place to stay for exploring the Grand Tetons. We also chose to make it our home base for Yellowstone, despite the 2-hour drive from the West entrance. I really loved staying at the cottage. So much cozier than a hotel room! Ralph & Mary were exceedingly helpful as hosts...they really take pride in their guests having a great experience and are very communicative throughout the process. Driggs is also an adorable town with lots of restaurants, which was a nice surprise. We really enjoyed our stay and I couldn't recommend this cottage more highly.
We had a terrific stay at Ralph and Mary's cottage. The cottage is very comfortable and spacious; designed with very fun artistic touches. We loved it. Ralph and Mary were wonderful hosts, charming, gracious and helpful. They gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants (be sure to try the blueberry pancakes the Hole and Bagle - to die for!).
They suggested an excellent hiking trail in Teton Canyon - it was an absolutely beautiful hike.
Be sure to ask for a tour of their glass studio - they create marvelous things.
All in all, we had a great time and highly recommend Ralph and Mary's cottage - you won't be disappointed.
We just loved our stay at Ralph and Mary's cottage. Ralph and Mary were both so kind. They gave us great recommendations on places to eat in town as well as information on hiking in the Tetons. We were able to observe them in their glass studio and were just fascinated by the process! The cottage itself is super nice, very comfortable and clean. We were able to use the kitchen to make some meals at home which was great. The landscape of Driggs and the surrounding area is beautiful. We hope we can come back again sometime!
The cottage is located way back in the garden and thus is very quiet and peaceful with a lot of privacy.
You are about one hour away from Grand Teton Visitor Center, but Driggs is such a nice little town and we liked it much more than busy, touristic Jackson.
Mary and Steve were wonderful hosts. Because Guni was so scared of the bears, Mary gave us a "Bear Lesson" and we could borrow bear spray from her. They helped with any questions and one day we were invited to watch them blow the most beautiful Christmas bells in their glass studio.
