I stayed through Airbnb with my brother in Berlin, and after a great experience I thought I should probably sign up. I am a mid to late (yikes) 20 something (28). I work for a non profit dealing with high school foreign exchange students from all over the world who want to study in the US for a year. I work in marketing, and develop orientation programs for the students in both the USA and in their home countries.
I wasn't always an international man of mystery however. I studied classical music (voice) at Ithaca College in central New York where I also collected a minor in politics. I would be happy to discuss either with you, but I probably won't be talked into singing.
I enjoy 30 Rock, Parks and Rec, Fringe, The New Normal and Downton Abbey. I recently discovered the band Two Door Cinema Club and it has been love since first listen. I am also digging The Temper Trap, Under the Influence of Giants, and Sick City Club at the moment. I enjoy reading and have just tucked into the latest Ken Follett novel.
As far as me being a guest, I am tidy, respectful and tend to leave things neater than I found them. After running summer camps, I am a huge proponent of leaving no trace in the wilderness, and that would (as much as possible) apply to my stay with you.
Other interesting jobs I have had:
Director of summer camps
Aupair in France
Tech support for an online medical database
