I did as much as I could to help Ron. Spent 30 minutes on the phone to help him to find a parking no. ( this is the first time happened to my guests, bec I normally gave very clear instruction ); I gave him a ride to his work next morning; in early afternoon, I rushed back from outside to pass Ron's car key, so his brother could work the brake on Ron's car, then I picked Ron up at his work. Not too many host would provide these kind of extra help.
Thanks David, I was traveling and did not read the email that you sent, and I will pay more attention on it in the future. The trip in Carolina turned out to be a very joyful and you contribution is certainly part of it ! I went to the coffee shop that you recommended, and it is special.
My flight from Wilmington back to SF was Saturday, 5:30am and it was full house. I was in the last seat and the air attendant sat next to me. She lives in Charlotte, I told her that I drove around downtown and there seems nothing much to see. She said Liberty walk surrounded by little fountains is interesting, it is behind the tall buildings, so I may not able to see it from driving. She also likes to travel, so it's a fun chat with her. Btw do you mind to provide me your regular email, so we may exchange interesting info. in the future ?
