Response from Craig:
Respectfully Edna, responsible people know how to discipline themselves to a reasonable noise level during typical sleeping hours, and responsible hosts know how to enforce such common sense rules when it comes to people who break them.
It seems to me however, that when there are already two couples with three small children between them, all living in a 5-room apartment, the idea of offering paid lodging to an eighth person without mentioning the presence of small children is rather less than responsible. More than a "claim:" my son shared a recording of the noise from the children time stamped at 10:36pm.
Also, the room door that wouldn't close was not the fault of any guest in the house.
Lastly, against the reviews of his other hosts (in addition to his reviews of them), "luck" is clearly not a factor when it comes to the success of finding suitable lodging. All that needs to happen is for the advertising to reasonably match reality.
