The trailer is nicely refurbished and feels wider than in pictures. The two accountants we are felt like being on tour in a band across the USA. Travel experience garantied. thanks again Robert for your hospitality!
Our host was prompt, helpful, and easy to communicate with. The airstream was really cute and comfortable!
Beautifully decorated, ultra hip and pretty much exactly what you would hope from the pictures. Hosting was efficient and smooth- no trouble. Only negative is that it still is just an airstream - meaning a portable AC unit(got pretty hot!), a compostable toilet and no wifi. But it's a great version of the lo-fi experience someone booking this is probably chasing.
Staying the Airstream was a treat. Although the area nearby (along the the highway) was somewhat sketchy, there was a good deal of privacy. It was well appointed and Chip did a good job cleaning it. Although there is a small air conditioner, we were glad to have brought a fan because it got hot in the Airstream (97 degrees outside) and the fan was needed for sleeping at night. The bottle of wine was a nice touch.
Only negative was the compost toilet. It was hard to mask the smell without some form of air freshener.
The place was really cute and enclosed in a large, fenced yard. The neighborhood is really precious too. The check-in and check-out process was very smooth and I would absolutely stay here again.
The trailer was super charming and we loved the privacy. It was right off a street but with the fence around it and it's placement in the back of the lot you really feel nice and secluded. The composting toilet was a surprise and it did have a slight odor when we first got in. But we opened the window and it mostly dissipated. There was a bottle of wine when we got there. It was hot during the day and the AC helped but you wouldn't want to spend a hot day in it (which we were informed of after we booked). Chip who met us with the key was very hospitable and prompt with his responses. All in all we had a super relaxing stay!
We had a bottle of wine waiting for us when we got inside the airstream. The bed was comfortable and the lights inside gave it a romantic feeling. The deck and yard were so nice.
The one downside was the composting toilet. It was not really a downside for us, because it was behind the bathroom door. It was quite cool actually, but we could see how some people would dislike it. The neighborhood is does not look like the best, but the street the place was on was decent. Also. It was a complete privacy fence. There was a parking spot for us as well. It was great when the fireflies came out. As I've said, it was romantic. The owner was kind to us and also left us in private. When we left, we were able to leave a little later than we wanted. The airstream was so clean. Perfect for two.
The trailer is super cute, very nice wooden interior, romantic lighting, new appliances and so forth. Robert's associate chip was a fine host, met us according to our schedule, showed us around, and was honest about the temperature of the trailer. It's hot in there in the summer and not comfortable for long stretches. A little fan you could put by your head would make a big difference. (We might have been the first ones staying there so maybe they can make some little changes.) The neighborhood is very nice - close to gas, beer, and basic stuff like that - but I think you definitely need a car. We had trouble with the gate, the latch is kind of weird. Overall this is a great little trailer in the back yard, very cozy and nice.
Robert was easy to communicate with. Im sure he's a great Guy but he left the place in a mess.
True to where he came from (LA) Robert was easy and chill. He was an great guest to host, clean and respectful of the space. I would have him back anytime!
