Great location! Short walk to the city centre. Massive house and there was 9 of us and we could choose our own rooms! Big kitchen and lounge room. James was really nice and attentive. Highly recommend staying here

In fact, I stayed in another apartment.
Upon arrival, the apartment was completely destroyed. But the next morning James is cleaned everything.
James also brought a mobile phone that can be used as an wifi access point.
The apartment is located in a great location next to Chinatown, the Gay Village and the city center. The toilet and bathroom are clean. The beds, linens and towels are good. Windows overlook the several nightclubs, so from Thursday to Monday a little bit noisy.
Great location and friendly host!
Maybe not the best place for family holidays, but our travelling gentlemen group kind of liked the place :)

James and Aaron were incredibly flexible hosts with regards to checking in and departing, which wasn't easy as I had a booking with two friends that flew in from separate counties. Both of them always answered any queries I had quickly by text or over the phone and made organising a fairly hectic weekend a lot easier.
The living room and the pool room are fantastic - and, although I did not use the kitchen, it looked fully appointed from what I could see.
I genuinely could not recommend them highly enough.
Booked to stay here but as we were delayed due to a tyre blow-out James arranged for me to stay at another Airbnb place where my mates were staying as it was more convenient. So big thanks for sorting that out the accommodation was awesome. Would be happy to go back.
Big house which needs work done but the essential rooms (kitchen/bathroom) are nice. James and Aaron are nice guys and good customer service, if you needed something they helped straight away.
Good for a booking of young people as it gets a bit crazy. Would not recommend to those that want a quiet stay!
The location is good very near lots of amenities, the host was very welcoming and helpful.
The house and the rooms were all good and there was a good pool table and a great projector to watch Tv.
The only issue was the places needs a little renovation still.
This is a historic house right near the city centre, and our welcome was warm and friendly. The bedding and rooms were clean. After that, it was less wonderful. This is a property in the course of being renovated, and so there are uneven floorboards, exposed wires, holes in the walls, rattling windows, tatty curtains and partly decorated rooms. The toilet door didn't shut, let alone lock, and the furniture was very basic, with no little 'extras' such as a waste paper bin, glass, mug or kettle. We had free use of the kitchen, but this was down 4 flights of stairs, and we had to buy our own tea bags and milk.
I accept that we paid only £40 per night for the room, but we were not expecting such basic facilities, nor were we expecting the awful noise generated by some of the other guests arriving at 5am on Sunday morning. With that, the rattling windows and the uncomforatble mattress, we barely slept and after 2 nights were ready to leave.
Our host is clearly renovating this property on a budget, and we sincerely applaud his enterprise and courage; however, a bit more honesty around the standard of the facilities would have been helpful - as we approach retirement age we really wouldn't choose to stay somewhere that resembles a student squat, regardless of price. Younger guests may well like the quirkiness of the surroundings, but to us it was a step too far, and we felt our host hadn't understood the factors that contribute to a pleasant stay.
