I love to travel and to host!
Eleanora’s generosity of spirit in sharing her home with us while we helped our son recover from surgery over the Christmas holidays was so appreciated! The layout of her home worked well for us, both in terms of our son managing on crutches and our trying to celebrate Christmas. She even put up a tree for us! Her kitchen was very well equipped, and her pup was very cute in his Santa outfit. Location is great with easy walking to subway stops, bus stops, shops on Manhattan St (including C-town Fresh Market for general groceries) and only a 15 - 20 min taxi to Manhattan. As long as you are fine with living in someone else’s home, which is what Airbnb is all about (not the same as at a hotel), Eleanora’s is a great place to stay in Brooklyn.
My girlfriend and I enjoyed the staying in Eleonora's place.
We've been there alone since Eleonora was on a trip.
The neighborhood is very quiet a peaceful, 24hs markets close by and a great(!) restaurant right behind the corner - Lobster joint is very recommended.
It's a little bit far from the subway station (5-10) minutes walk - we had to do it couple of times while it was raining, and it's a 20 minutes ride to the central park \ 5th ave. etc.
Eleonora is very nice and kind, we met her only in the door on our way out of NY but we got talk a bit and share experiences..
Eleonora's place was great! I was greeted warmly by her and her super cute dog, Pupton. Apartment is clean and spacious, in a great location in Greenpoint - easy access to metro and shops around on Manhattan. I would definitely come back - in fact, I am - next week!
Thanks so much Eleonora for having me and my group stay at your place.
The apartment is in a great friendly neighbourhood with a good mix of older places and trendy newer places to eat and shop. It is also very convenient to Manhattan.
I was there to run the NYC Marathon and it was the ideal place.
The apartment itself is roomy and comfortable with modern bathrooms and a very friendly happy little dog.
Eleonara really makes the whole thing great though. I was traveling with my 71-year-old mother and she was made to feel welcome and at ease. Eleonara is a warm, relaxed people-person and went out of her way to make sure that we felt at home and enjoyed our stay.
Highly recommended stay.
Short story: Amazing host. Great apartment. Best part of New York.
Long(er) story: After having stayed in Manhattan for 5 hectic nights, we were welcomed by an oasis of serenity in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. If you're visiting New York for more than just a couple of nights, I would recommend staying out here. The community is super nice with great bars, eats, and people in general -- and Manhattan is only a short ferry/train ride away (recommend taking the ferry for a most excellent view of the city).
Eleonora was the perfect host -- helpful, social, and with excellent pumpkin carving skills :) She also has the cutest little pug, and thanks to the amazing invention of doors, you don't have to worry about him rummaging through your stuff.
All in all, a great stay and nothing to complain (website hidden). You want to try out the honey spiced chicken with waffles (yes, waffles with chicken) at the Sweet Chick restaurant nearby. The Lobster Joint (2min walk from the apartment) is also super swell!
Eleonora is the perfect host! We had a wonderful time staying at her apt.
Eleonora is very helpful for foreigners who were not familiar with NYC. She hailed a cab for us to pick us up at JFK and patiently waits for our response when we lost our signal. The apartment is great with luxurious space and a friendly pup, we love him very much. One stop from Grand Central and about 10 mins of walk to metro station. Definitely the place to be when group and family visit NYC.
Eleonora is so accommodating and helpful with her apartment!!! She has a wonderful space with a variety of options for multiple people...and a backyard! It is in a great location for access to Greenpoint and LIC, Queens.
Eleonora is the perfect host! She strikes just the right balance between being absolutely charming and welcoming while also allowing plenty of privacy and space. She is ready with great recommendations for enjoying her wonderful Brooklyn neighborhood as well as Manhattan. Her apartment is spacious and comfortable and is just the place you want to return to after big days and nights of exploring all that NYC has to offer. I would stay here again the next time work or play allows me to be in the area.
Eleonora, her dog, and her apartment were all top notch. She's a charming and gracious host who immediately put my friend and me at ease and made us comfortable in her home.
Really enjoyed her neighborhood in and of itself and the location provided quick and convenient access to everything we wanted to do/see outside of Greenpoint.
If work or play brings me back to NYC I would most definitely stay with Eleonora again.
It was a pleasure hosting Eleonora. Although her stay was brief, she was respectful, clean and neat. I would be happy to have her back..:)
Eleonora and her sister were wonderful guests. They were really clean, nice, friendly and accomodating. I will welcome them back to my home anytime! Thank you for staying with me :D
Where do we start? Eli is a great guest. Beautiful inside and out. My kids adored her--"Look, mom brought us Marry Popins!" After spending three days watching us guzzle seltzer, Eli bought us a soda stream as a housewarming present--so kind and unexpected. Such a joy.t
She is just great. You will be very lucky to have her as a guest.
Eleonora stayed a couple nights in the house with a friend and yes I would definitely accommodate her again. A very easygoing and pleasant guest who really felt at home in the place, I loved it. They left the house clean and organized which was nice because that’s not always the case. Like I said before, I would welcome her again.
Eleonora was a great guest! Left the studio very clean and easy to communicate with during her stay. Would definitely recommend to other hosts!
