We are very sorry that Derek did not have a better overall experience. He and his family and friends were very friendly and we enjoyed getting to know them a little bit during their stay. Plus they were clean and quiet.
The A/C was indeed a problem. Our A/C guy cancelled on us 5 consecutive times and was only able to come fix it after Derek had left. Now all six units are working beautifully. During Derek's stay, only two were working correctly. And there were some classic muggy NYC days!
I thought I had adequately warned Derek about the construction before he made his reservation, but he is right, a picture is worth a thousand words. Next time I will try to provide photos of any work. Although we expect to have the remaining work 100% complete before anyone else visits.
Derek, please accept our "apology" refund and you guys are welcome back any time. I am sure you will be very pleased with the improvements :)
