I'm an architect living and working in Copenhagen - my adopted city. I've been living here for almost 10 years now and am a transplant from the USA.

David's apartment is so beautiful. It felt like home but was so much nicer than NYC apartments. It was a pretty convenient location and since David offered us his bikes, it was so easy to get around anywhere we had to go. Definitely recommend this apartment for any kind of trip to copenhagen.
The perfect stay with the perfect host!
The apartment is beautiful, perfectly clean, and it’s located in the most convenient position: in a friendly and young neighborhood full of restaurants and pubs, nearby the city center which you can reach in 5 minutes by the S- train (the station is around the corner) or by bikes: David have two of them that you’re free to use, and that give the real perspective of the town (which is really MADE for bikers). David is incredibly kind, he gives you all the information you need from the very beginning, but he is always ready to answer rapidly to all your questions and doubts once you’re there. Absolutely recommended!!!
My sister and I spent 5 nights in Copenhagen in July. David's apartment was perfectly located for our needs, as it allowed us to walk everywhere, and yet was located on a very quiet street very near the Dybolsbro station, so we also had easy access to the airport, central station, etc.
For those of you who are apprehensive about the Danish bathrooms that do not have a separate shower, but instead a shower head in the middle of the room, let me tell you this was the best shower I had in Europe. It was great and very easily cleaned up afterwards. I am now all for these types of showers.
It was nice to have the option of riding bicycles, as David left 3 available for our use. We did not however use them, as we enjoyed walking throughout the city, and the Vesterbro area. The Carlsberg area is beginning to boom, and is a must see, especially for beer drinkers!
All in all, we had a wonderful time and felt the apartment was priced well for what we needed.
great place. super good location. very clean. good cd collection.
We are extremely happy of our experience in David's flat, which was our first with Airbnb: everything was exactly as in the pictures. The apartment is located in a very nice and posh area, very close to all amenities, with lots of cosy cafes. The apartment itself is very nice, clean and very well furnished (we loved the paintings and the atmosphere in general).
It was extremely practical to have a kitchen for ourself, where we cooked some of our meals and ate in the lovely dining room, which was quite convenient as Copenhagen is quite expensive.
Communicating with Davis was easy and straightforward, before and during our stay. He even let us use his nice bikes. All in all a great place to stay and enjoy this wonderful city. Tusind Tak, David!
I would 100% recommend this place to anyone going to Copenhagen for a few days.
-Very easy to get from/to the airport
-In a cool district, where locals go for a few beers
-You can walk to the city centre
-The apartment is cosy and has character
-David was really helpful from the first interaction. He answered all my questions very quickly and made sure our stay was as confortable as possible
Great apartment, great location, very good tips from David for local cafes. It was nice to use the (nice) bikes, Kobehavn is a wonderful city for cycling. David provided very helpful information on how to get to the apartment with maps and pictures.
Potential minor downsides are the bathroom with a shower almost on top of the toilet (but I have read that's common in Copenhagen), no TV and the noise from the neighbors. Although that was as expected for us.
All in all we had a great stay at David's apartment and can certainly recommend it.
Great apartment in a great area of the city. David was a terrific host, very easy to deal with and very thorough. Will absolutely recommend his place to friends thinking of traveling to Copenhagen.
Totally cute apartment, excellent location AND the added convenience of Copenhagen's most popular means of transportation (bikes) at your disposal. In addition, Dave was helpful and responsive throughout the stay. I would definitely stay again.
David and Marline were great guests, very easy going and straightforward, they left the apartment in best condition and we would be pleased to have them as our guests anytime again.
David and his friends was kind people, and they left the apartment in good condition.
David and his family have been fantastic ! Thank you for coming ! I really hope to have them back one day !
David è un ospite rispettoso e molto gentile. Grazie, David!
David was a great guest and a cool person. I recommend him to any other hosts on AirBnB. See you again some day!
David a very good guest. We didn't see eachother during his stay as we were both busy but he is really quiet and respectfull.
It was a pleasure to host Dave and hear how he has made an interesting life abroad. He is a true traveler and offers a unique perspective on the American Experience. Dave is a clean, tidy, and easy to talk to design-phile.
