I am a 23 year old student, born and raised in Cambridge, ON, Canada. I haven't done a lot of traveling, but it's always been a dream of mine.
Ean was nice and easy-going, however, some problems were encountered during Ean's stay.
First, he showed up with 5 people for a predrink on the patio, without notifying any roommate, which was a bit awkward. Anyhow, I didn't really care since they left early, but it would have been wise to notify me first.
Actually the best part came on the day Ean left, when I checked the room where he had been sleeping. The room was clean, but the bedsheet was gone and the pillowcases were replaced. The former pillowcases were wet and chucked out in the closet. I then noticed a huge wet stain on the mattress which smelled Lysol (so did the pillowcases). Obviously, Ean puked on the bed during the night, tried to cover it up with an awful lot of Lysol and left without telling us.
In the meantime, the mattress and the duvet are ruined and we had to replace them for the next airbnb guests.
Also, when I told this to Ean by email, he did not reply to clarify this event.
Regarding this whole situation, I really don't see how I could recommend Ean for another stay.
update : Ean offered to pay for the caused damage, which is honest, but still I would prefer to be told when the incident happened.
Kelly, Ean and Patrick are such wonderful guests. Communication went smoothly without a hitch, they kept my place clean and neat, and even left me a bottle of rose' as a gift. I would love to host them again in the near future. Thank you!
