I'm a rather easygoing Finnish girl in my mid-twenties. I am currently a post-graduate student in economics, with a special interest in developing countries, and would like do economic research possibly in Africa or in South-America in the future. Besides my studies, I am passionate about ashtanga yoga, but all sorts of other sports provide me much-needed breaks from studying, as well. I travel as much as my budget allows me to, and especially on my travels, I'm known (or notorious) for walking around with my camera at hand at all times.
My idea of a good night out is a chilled gig in a small club and in good company (such as my ever-so lovely boyfriend). For winding down, I tend to resort to Woody Allen films or to great literature, such as Jhumpa Lahiri and Aravind Adiga. Some mellow music does the trick, as well - Feist, Laura Marling, and Iron & Wine to name a few of my all-time favourites.
As an Airbnb guest, I like to consider myself as an easy but responsible and tidy one. Regarding the accommodation, I don't ask for much, except for cleanliness and safety (and I do enjoy quirky design and interesting spaces). Even though I am keen to know what the host has to say about his/her hometown, I know when to stay out of the way. I really enjoy exploring cities on my own, by foot most preferably, and there is no better thrill than to wander around pointlessly - it is the detours that have taken me to the most amazing places I've ever been to.
