Our stay at Daragh's was really nice and comfortable. He was a very flexible and fun host. We ended up getting into the city later than we had planned and he was really nice about meeting us. He gave us lots of lovely recommendations for nightlife and restaurants. His apartment was beautiful and very clean. He had a bunch of adapters in the room which ended up saving us because he forgot ours. The room is really cute and spacious and the location was excellent. I would definitely recommend the room and would stay here again.
My 2 week stay was technically split in 2 parts, so please see my other full review
Daragh's apartment is situated in a great part of the city and is surrounded by many bars, pubs and restaurants what gives you the possibility to choose between all these fabulous places to have dinner or drinks etc
The apartment itself was a real gem in the centre of Dublin. It was clean, spacious and bright and Daragh provided everything we needed (including insider tips where to go and what to do). He was extremely nice and caring and made us feel truly comfortable. We really enjoyed staying with Daragh and therefore I can recommend everyone who wants to have a gorgeous time in Dublin to stay there too.
My girlfriend and I stayed with Daragh for 2 weeks and we had a great time. He is a wonderful host and is more than happy to give you pointers around the city. One of the Dublin Bus routes took us directly from the airport to his doorstep, so it was quite easy to get to his place. He is also located quite close to the downtown/Dame Street area, and there are plenty of places to check out near his apartment. We stayed in the top floor (technically listed as Room #1) and it had plenty of room for our large luggage.
The only thing of note is that Dicey's is a notoriously loud bar which plays music pretty late into the night (particularly Thurs-Sun). As long as you have a decent pair of earplugs you should be fine (you can also pick them up at any local pharmacy for 1 Euro).
Ultimately, we would happily stay with him again!
Very nice days in Dublin living in Daragh's place. The flat is in a good location, at a short walking distance of every place to see and in a neighborhood with dubliner and not just tourist so it's perfect to understand the real city. I think it's my favorite section of the city. The room is charming, the flat too and Daragh too ! Thanks again.
Daragh was a great host, friendly, available and he gave us good tips :) His house is well located, only a few minutes walk from the touristic places . A good place to stay.
It was really nice staying in Daragh's place, excellent location, interesting surroundings and building. Flat nice and well equipped, everything works the way you'd expect. No problems. Daragh is a friendly and thoughtful host.
Very good altogether!
Daragh è davvero simpatico, premuroso e disponibile a ogni nostra richiesta.
