I am a music journalist, academic and documentary filmmaker who has been documenting independent music culture in the Arab world for the last 8-years (*based in Beirut). I am also the co-host/producer of the new Red Bull Music Academy Radio show - Quarter Tone Frequency - which exposes independent music from the Middle East.
As an AirBnB GUEST: I like to take up as little space as possible - and as mom always explained, my host should not feel I'm a burden in anyway. I am a kitchen hand, and am very tidy! I have a great directional sense, and tend to go places for specific reasons - giving my travel purpose. As well, history, music and culture are my loves, so what's not to like there?
AS A HOST: I at times share the house/apartment with roommates - mostly friends - who regularly come to visit or commute to Beirut for work. Because of my work, I'm intimately connected with the cultural and social tastemakers in Beirut.
I hope this description helps people in some way. Look forward to meeting you!
