Had a great stay at Justin's place.
The place has an awesome location right next to a subway station and lots of cool local stuff.
Just arranged the key swap perfectly (he was away on a trip) and quickly responded to a small issue I had with the lock. He is a great host and I wouldn't hesitate to stay at his place again.
My stay at Justin's was great! I stayed at his place for about 3 weeks, from mid July till August. The apartment is spacious, welcoming and very well decorated. The kitchen has everything you need to make your own dinner, the living room and the bedroom are very sunny and charming.
The location is ideal, both to visit Brooklyn and to easily get to Manhattan: the G train stop is 1 min away and the C stop is about 7-8 mins walk from the apartment. The neighbourhood -Clinton Ave/Fort Greene- is very beautiful: the area is quiet and safe, and you’ll find grocery stores, laundromats, coffe places, bars, and restaurants within walking distance. The Brooklyn fleamarket and BAM are also very close, and definitely worth a visit.
Justin was a great host: friendly, welcoming and very responsible.
I had a memorable time in NY and I would definitely stay at Justin’s again. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
Justin's apartment is perfect, exactly as described or better, and Justin himself was very helpful, flexible, and communicative. Very quiet building on adorable block, so close to the G. My boyfriend and I stayed for a few nights and loved it. It rained for the first couple days we were in the city so it turned out we spent more time inside then we planned. This worked out well though considering how cozy the place is!
We had a fine stay at Justin his place. The appartment is big and was well decorated. It is near connections into Manhattan and other places in Brooklyn. The area is quite and safe, there are some good restaurants and a big supermarket just 5 minutes walking. We can recommend the place to everyone.
Justin's apartment was perfect for our visit to Brooklyn. While the kitchen is small, we had 4 kids over for dinner one night and found plenty of room to cook and enjoy our dinner. The bed was very comfy and there was plenty of storage for our belongings. The apartment has big bright windows and is very welcoming. The location is fantastic in a safe and beautiful neighborhood. It is an easy walk to subways, grocery stores and restaurants.
Justin's place was exactly as it appears in the listing, if not better. The apartment sits on a very quiet, tree lined street between two main avenues which makes a subway trip in any direction incredibly simple and convenient. It is also situated just blocks from the Brooklyn Flea, a lovely weekend farmer's market and the wonderful 30 acre Ft Greene Park. You cannot ask for a better location. As far as the apartment itself, it was clean, comfortable and felt like home. Two small window A/C units kept the air circulating so it was never stuffy or hot even in August. The bed was comfy, clean towels and washcloths were left for us and that was all we needed. The kitchen is small but efficient, same for the bathroom.
Overall we would absolutely stay here again!
Justin was a great host; easy to work with and very laid-back. We had a great time in his home and would recommend staying there to anyone...as long as you are not afraid of walking up a few stairs to get home at night. Great neighborhood, fantastic transit access and a really nice apartment. Thank you Justin!
Justin was awesome! Clean and respectful and fun to talk to. Generally an awesome guy and awesome guest. He's welcome back anytime.
Justin and his dad were lovely people, easy to work with--and even left us a jar of pickles as a gift!! How awesome is that?!?
