Expat inn owner.
Are you kidding, the owners are great, and look at the pictures. If your spending time in Bocas, want to be close to down town, yet away from all the noise. Pay them a visit, you won't regret it.
Hands down the BEST place to stay in all of bocas! The hotel is just outside the "main" area of town. Far enough to be out of the noise and hustle and bustle, but close enough to walk to everything in 3 short minutes. My husband and I originally booked for 4 nights here and we ended up extending our stay for 10 days! We had to move over to the Hostel for 3 of the nights, and it was incredible there as well! A beautiful shared house, with a kitchen, ON THE WATER! With your own private dock and gorgeous wrap around porch to hang out on during the hot, sunny afternoons. Both the main hotel and the hostel have free wifi AND free, homemade, fantastic breakfast every morning! To top it off, Bryan and Jana are extremely gracious hosts and are there to help you with pretty much anything! We will definitely be coming back here again! And don't forget to check out the Bocas Bus (also owned by Bryan and Jana:) for some tastey smoothies and lunch!! One of the best spots in town (the foods great too!) thanks again guys! We love Bocas and we LOVE Lula's!!
We really enjoyed our stay at Lula's! The accommodations were clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious every morning, the staff was so helpful and friendly and the location (not exactly in the middle of things, but close enough to walk there within 5 mins) couldn't be beat. Highly recommend it!
Great hosts and service, lovely relaxing spot in Bocas.
Very communicative, kind and helpful hosts.
Comfortable and clean rooms and great breakfasta.
Lula's is the ideal spot for those who want to
stay in Bocas town but don't want to
listen to pounding dancehall till 4am. The balcony is on the water and always has a lovely breeze,
a must on those muggy tropical nights. Mirna is un dulce corozan, if you like to surf definitely book a trip with Chapo, he is super cool and will show you some great local spots away from crowdeneros. Two thumbs up!
Great location, quiet area. Walking distance to main street. Nice staff and good breakfast.
We stayed here for 8 nights in December 2013, and loved it! The room we stayed in was very clean, and had AC. (the fan was a little loud, so we stuck to the AC). The owners were often on hand to answer our questions, and if they weren't around, the rest of the staff were always very helpful!
We met some great people around the communal breakfast table, and breakfast was really good too!
I also deeply loved that they had an "honesty bar" with soft drinks, beer etc!
I absolutely LOVED this place. The location is perfect- out of town a little bit but that is what makes it so perfect. I enjoyed being right on the water- I jumped off the dock and swam at least once daily. I took Spanish lessons at Habla Ya which was less than 10 minutes to walk to. Mirna who runs the office is so sweet and helpful. The owners were around the second week I stayed and they were equally helpful and accommodating. It is a hidden gem ( we never had more than 5 guests- and it sleeps 11!) that I feel won't be this way for long!
