Indeed great location, and particularly for us because it was really close to the Moscone Center and to plenty of nice restaurants and bars. Also, Thomas was always quite quick to answer emails and willing to help us, especially the last day of our stay when he allowed us to leave at his place our luggage until quite late in the afternoon. However, we were disappointed with the overall conditions of the apartment. In particular, for what concerns the bedroom window that does not reduce the street noise. We had some trouble with the heater too. Thomas actually wrote in the house guidelines that there will be a loud noise when it is first heating up as it is very old and unfortunately it started every night around 5am (the past week was a very cold one in SF). Anyway, the balance for us was positive and we certainly would recommend it to people not particularly sensitive to noise.
Nice studio to rest your head after a long day of conferencing or just seeing the sites. Great location! Was appx a 10 minute walk to the Moscone Center and plenty of great places nearby for food and drink! The host is quick to respond to inquiries and literally got on the phone with me just before checking in to talk about great places to eat!
Thomas's apartment was fantastic. Centrally located & within walking distance to everything, it was a spacious studio with all the comforts of home. I can't recommend this place enough. My colleague paid more for one day at the JW Marriott down the block than I did for three days here, and I easily got the better place to stay at that! Tom was very flexible when I needed a late check-in, which was great due to unexpected changes to my work schedule. He was responsive to my emails as well, and I never had any issues getting in touch. It was easily my best AirBnB experience and I hope that Tom's place is available the next time I'm in San Francisco!
Great location and, most importantly, easy access. However, we were disappointed with the overall condition of the property.
I stayed at Thomas' place for a business trip in San Francisco. It's in a great location, close to Union Square with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. The apartment was clean and appeared as advertised. This was my first airbnb experience and I would definitely do it again.
We loved our stay at Thomas' apartment. As others have mentioned, the location could not be more 'downtown', with easy proximity to Union Square shopping and transit connections. The apartment is compact but well-appointed, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We stayed four nights in October and were sad to leave this nice apartment and San Francisco.
A fantastic way to feel as if you are really living (perhaps again) in San Francisco. An easy walk to Union Square and Convention Center activities. Thomas, a great host, was immediately helpful with the few traveller questions that invariably come up.
Tom was an absolute pleasure to have in my home. Very respectful and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend having him stay with you in your home. :) cheers. Aaron
We enjoyed Thomas and his guest. They were very respectful of the property and the house rules.
We have no complaints and appreciate their communicating any needs.
We would love to host them again.
