It was our second time at Conservatory Cottage and we enjoyed staying there! We visited Halloween celebration event in Poulsbo - it was lots of fun and joy! Pumpkin carving and horror movie at the cozy cottage was exactly what we wanted. Thanks Phyllis and Troy!!!
We had a wonderful stay at Conservatory Cottage! The space is charming, extremely clean, and well equipped for a weekend of relaxing and eating (especially with Central Market just a few minutes away!). Phyllis and Troy were excellent hosts - we can’t wait to go back!
This place in the Northwest is a treasure! The way the hosts built this and put it all together is more than creative. It's quite amazing and fun to discover! We loved staying here!
Our only regret is not having stayed longer! Hosts were attentive, responsive, and accommodating. The cottage is dreamy and cozy - it is closely located to shops and restaurants, though it feels like a secluded haven. Will definitely return.
Phyllis and Troy were great hosts! We didn't have much in-person interactions, but they were very responsive before and during the stay - any questions I sent them, they replied within 10 minutes!
The cottage was the cutest Airbnb lodging I've ever stayed and it had everything we could ask for, and so clean, cozy, spacious and beautiful! It was for bridal shower girls getaway trip, and it could not have been more perfect.
Absolutely zero complaints or negative thing to say about the hosts or the cottage! Waking up in the cottage was so quiet and peaceful, I didn't want to leave.
From the get go, we loved this place. My family from Texas was visiting for the weekend, and I wanted to give them a "Pacific Northwest" experience that was more than Pike Place or the Space Needle. After stopping in Poulsbo for lunch and shopping, we made our way out to the cabin...deep in Washington woods. It was magical. A true home away from home. Phyllis and a loving German Shepard (Coco) met us at the truck. Phyllis gave us a great walk through and explained all the great amenities (heated floors, hidden beds, and cool "hobbit-like" door locks). We were even told to be on the look out for local wild life that liked to sneak into the garden...unfortunately they didn't visit while we were there. It rained nearly the entire next morning which was honestly a perfect way to end an amazing stay. In the days following our trip, my mom has consistently told me to "call Troy and Phyllis and get us a night reserved! I'm coming back!" This cabin will be a must on my PNW AirBnB as long as the hosts will have me!
My husband and I stayed here when we got married 20 minutes away at Kitsap Memorial State Park. It was the perfect place to relax the day before our big day and for my bridesmaids and I to get ready the day of. The cabin is BEAUTIFUL. Downstairs is a fully functioning kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, a washer and dryer, and a very cozy sitting area with a couch, fireplace and great selection of books. Upstairs is a queen bed, day bed, closet, drawers, and a small balcony. Outside are towering trees, a deck with seating, grill, and a lovely garden. It is a perfect location to escape into the woods - with charm to boot: a beautiful chandelier, a stunning front door, and lovely log beams. Our host, Troy, was very helpful and accommodating. He met us the moment we arrived and showed us how everything worked (including the house's speakers and his fantastic music selection!). Our car broke down at the venue on the morning of our check out; we messaged Troy with a heads up and to see if we could move our check out later. He messaged back quickly to say that he didn't have another reservation, so we could check out whenever we could. Overall, a wonderful experience - and we'll definitely be back for anniversaries and getaways! Thank you, Troy!
They were absolutely great! The cabin is gorgeous, warm and clean. Phyllis and Troy were very helpful with our last minute plans and made getting there a breeze. I would recommend this place to anyone who felt like getting out of town for a little relaxation in the wilderness.
This was the perfect place to land after a backpacking adventure for us. It is nestled in a forested garden space with lots of privacy but still close enough to explore the area around. The place was immaculate, bright, with all the amenities you could possibly need. Troy was the perfect host. He walked us through everything we needed to know, and was there when we needed something. He was also very respectful of our space.
Troy was very accommodating with arrival time and made us feel very welcome by showing us around the cottage and the ins and outs of everything. The cottage was everything we had imagined and more. Not only is it a cozy space, but in a gorgeous location and very well maintained. We did not need much in the cottage as our stay was brief, but the cottage had everything anyone may need for a stay--coffee maker, toaster, extra pillows, etc. We had hoped that the cottage would be remote and it certainly was--in the middle of a heavily wooded area but also a short drive to nearby Poulsbo in the case we needed anything or in our case, wanted to grab dinner. The area is incredibly peaceful and beautiful. We couldn't have asked for a better stay--thank you, Troy and Phyllis!
Everything was left in good order. We'd be glad to have Phyllis and Troy back anytime.
