I work as a Conservation Biologist with the Wildlife Conservation Society in New York, and also as a writer and teacher (New York University). I travel often for work, and most of my travels are to remote parts of Africa, Latin America, and Asia where I help to develop nature conservation projects. I also travel often to Europe, and particularly to Italy where my parents and most of my family is from. I have an apartment in Chelsea, NY and also a lovely cottage in the Catskills Mountains north of New York City. I am a frequent Airbnb traveler and I always treat other people's homes with the same care and respect that I give to my own homes. I consider it an honor for others to open and share their homes with me to help ease the burdens of travel.
