Response from Sam:
Christine asked me for a refund in exchange for no review. I said no because a bad review is not necessarily a bad thing. We are all different and we all have different views of things, and I think it is important to have different point of views so people will have realistic expectations. The fact that most guests love this place and some hate it is prove of that.
I dont need to lie. I want it to be as realistic as possible. The pictures are real. They were hiding anything. Some things were damaged by guests after the picture , but not everything she says is true.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
the apartment is old. The building is old. The neighborhood is old. So, the paint is going to be redone on that wall that she pointed out.
The kitchen has a microwave, hot plates, kettle, fridge/freezer, toaster, and utensils.
The door frame was warped by a guest. So, it ll be fixed during our break end of october. No way to see that coming. It is not as bad as she makes it sound, but it is not a lie.
A French shower since we are in France :)
Clean sheets and towels.
The wifi has been a problem for her and one other person after her. It is not a service problem, but it might be a device problem since this is a new type of service as far as I know offered only in France. Guests have the possibility to access internet anywhere. If we have more complaints, we ll change to a regular service since we do not know how to adapt each device to the service
WHAT IS A LIE
The place has been 1 year on Airbnb. She is the only one with bite marks. the only one who saw cockroaches. The only one with bed bugs even if even other people who did not like the place didnt have any.
Dirty sheets or place. I think she was not happy with the place, so she just decided to think everything was wrong. 3 people supervise the cleaning of sheets and towels and of the flat.
