My self-summary
I'm a logical guy always dreaming of the future. Continual technological progress across the board (many fields) will lead to our eventual destiny. My dream is to be part of this future, spreading across the universe. Therefore, I sincerely hope life extension technology is available in time!

In the meantime, I am a Web Software Developer. Currently working for "the man" but am willing to jump on a web start-up idea if it seems right.

I am a INTJ from those Carl Jung / Myers-Briggs personality type tests.

I am honest, dependable, hard-working, calm, logical, cute, flirtatious, and intelligent. I have come to value and appreciate the comforts in life. I guess you could say I subscribe to the motto: Work Hard, Play Hard.

I live in my own (clean) apartment with a cat. I have a projector with a 92" screen on the wall on which I watch movies and shows that I download or get from Netflix. I'm still driving around my first car. I enjoy taking long walks (not on the beach).

What I’m doing with my life
I want to evolve. In a personal way, I have been. The course of events and interests thus far in life have led me to being a skilled Web Developer. However, I can't help but be drawn towards contributing to human advancement in a more direct way. I am looking into the feasibility of programming for brain-computer interfaces.

I'd also like to meet amazing people and make great friends along the way. We're all in this together.

I'm really good at
Bending computers to my will.
Twirling swords or other long/straight objects around.
Dancing fluidly with my arms and hands.
Being extremely honest.
Figuring (all sorts of) things out.

The first things people usually notice about me
I have long hair. I'm wearing all black. And perhaps social awkwardness?

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like most music except Country and hardcore Rap. The genre I listen to the most is Symphonic Metal. With bands like: Within Temptation, Nightwish, Xandria, Edenbridge, Tristania, Delain, Sirenia, Angtoria, Epica, Krypteria

I also always listen to a wide range of electronic/techno/gothic/industrial/dance/80s/instrumental/jock jams/pop/etc. To name some bands: Infected Mushroom, Daft Punk, The Birthday Massacre, VNV Nation, Seabound, Wolfsheim, BlutEngel, Basshunter, Scooter, Apocalyptica, Pat Benetar, Lady Gaga

I also listen to all sorts of modern rock.

Educational shows from Discovery / History channels on topics like nature, the world, physics, and most importantly - the universe. Recent fictional shows that I recall being into include:
The Mentalist, Smallville, Sanctuary, Doctor Who, Torchwood

I don't watch anime quite as much as I used to, but you could still call me an anime fan. I've watched quite a bit, but my all time favorite is Berserk. Death Note was also surprisingly thrilling, but doesn't have much re-watch value.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a lot of time thinking about Life. About how it's a complete roll of the dice. You get whatever you are born with or into, and you just have to deal with it. I think about the path we can take into a future world where we are not controlled/limited by our biology.

I would love to understand everything there is to know. The problem is that the human mind can't comprehend or remember even a tiny fraction of that knowledge.

I think about how in this life, we just have to do the best we can do. Go 100%, and hopefully you'll make a difference.

I try to imagine how other people see/experience the world.

On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with friends; Taking it easy after a long day at work; Doing extra work that is on a deadline; Going to some event/activity that happened to come up; Researching; Or just wasting time on the internet (I mean, who doesn't do that?!)
