I'm a traveler myself who loves exploring new places. I like my guests to feel at home, comfortable and relaxed - while still being only steps away for the excitement of my favorite city - San Francisco.

Amazing location two blocks away from shopping in Union Square and the amazing views of Nob Hill. Krista keeps a clean and cozy space, was easy to meet and was extremely accommodating.
Krista is very quick in her response from the time of enquiry to anything I needed to know throughout my stay in SFO. She made the checked in and out easy for me even though she was busy. The location of her apartment was perfect as it was close to union square- 5 mins walk down the slope which was a good exercise for me daily. There is a nice beanstalk cafe along bush street which serves great latte and breakfast sandwich that I so love that made it an added bonus. The apartment is comfortable for one as its spacious. The lift is quite challenging as its manual and rather heavy to open but after a few tries, I got used to it and it works fine. The only down side would be the noises along the streets at night which can be disturbing if you are a light sleeper like me.
Krista's apartment was really cozy and had everything you need for a shorter or longer stay. Right in the middle of the city, near to public transportation and in walking distance from restaurants and shops. Krista was really nice and friendly, and always quick to respond. I already recommended here apartment to friends and colleagues. Hopefully the apartment is free next time I go to San Francisco.
Really nice place, very conveniently located in downtown SF. The main room is bigger than it looks on the pictures. I stayed there 12 nights and I really thank Krista for being so responsive and taking care of everything. The street is indeed a bit noisy but no more than you would expect in such a centra location. I would definitely recommend the place and would come back again.
Krista was so so lovely to deal with. She really went above and beyond to make sure check in went smoothly for us. I am very grateful for all of the fat and friendly communication in the lead up.
The apartment was lovely. It had everything you could possibly need, was nicely furnished and well located.
I highly recommend Krista to any Airbnb-ers looking for a nice time in SF.
My wife and I just got married in Las Vegas and headed to San Francisco for our honeymoon. This was my first time Airbnb but it was a must due to the high hotel costs in San Francisco. from the beginning to the end, Krista was very easy to communicate with via instant messaging or via phone. I was never worried trying to reach Krista and she was very easy going and helpful with straightforward directions. the listing is very accurate and the location of the apartment is very convenient. a few minute walk east can bring you to the entrance of Chinatown and a few minute walk south can bring you to Union Square. the neighborhood felt very safe but for those who are looking for a quiet place to stay, this is not the best option as this is the busier part of town with lots of traffic and bars at all times of the day. previous reviewers are right, earplugs may help to sleep during the night. i didn't have a problem as i'm a deep sleeper (this came from my wife). the apartment had to change all the windows of the building during my last night and half day of stay. i let Krista know and she immediately arranged 2 nights of hotel located just next door so the transition was very easy (Executive Hotel Vintage Court) out of her pocket for the cost in excess of what i paid for her place. that was very nice of her. she acted very quick and informed me promptly. her bed was very comfortable and i'd definitely use her place again when i return to SF. Thanks Krista!
What a fabulous experience! This well-appointed apartment is clean, cozy and extremely comfortable, along with being in an outstanding location.
Nearby restaurants are great, the market across the street is superb and carries some nice fresh produce.
Bonus: hearing the cable cars at the intersection nearby ~ priceless. Great value, great time...!
Krista & Ben were extremely helpful before & during my stay and in close touch at all times.
Krista was a very nice, responsive and helpful host. Our plane was delayed but Krista arranged for us to meet up later and get the keys at the apartment which was very appreciated.
The apartment was cosy and very nice for two people. Location was great, only a couple a blocks away from China Town, Union Square and the Financial District. The Supermarket across the street was very convenient.
The only downside was the noise from the outside which some people mentioned earlier but just bring earplugs and it won't be a problem.
Would gladly recommend this apartment for your San Francisco visit.
My boyfriend and I stayed at Krista apartment for 4 nights and we really enjoyed it. This was our first experience using Airbnb and it all went pretty well. Krista was always available and very fast answering all the questions we had. She met us downstairs from her work and handed off the keys to the apartment, which is exactly as the pictures show. The location is perfect, just 2 blocks away from Union square, which is a really central location. The apartment is a bit noisy since the street is a very busy street and because the building is old the windows don’t block the noise from outside. If you have a really sensitive sleeping just bring ear plugs and you would be more than fine.
Just a last note regarding the old vintage elevator, in case you arrive with your luggage and it is not working just make sure you go up the stairs and bring it down. Sometimes one of the 2 doors is not closed properly and it doesn’t appear to be working. But it works just fine!
It’s a perfect apartment for a couple that I recommend to everyone looking for a perfect location.
Krista was a great host. She met us down stairs from her work and handed off the keys to the apartment, which is about a 10 minute, up hill, walk away. The apartment was quite small but fine for us as a couple.
Fantastic location, only two blocks from Union Square! there is a tram that takes you right to the bottom of Lombard St and Fishermans Wharf on the corner, and the city tour busses all stop at Chinatown which is only one street away. The bathroom is very small and quite old. We would recommend this to travellers who are not too fussy, we enjoyed our stay here, but would probably look for something different next time.
